You are crazy. I played volleyball from
high school until I was 30; it is One of the most intense games out there.

Yeah I've run on the beach and played plenty of beach volleyball with friends but not seriously.  I don't doubt it is hard but a fit person isn't going to pass out on ten mins of playing.  Not like it's boxing or something.
They are great athletes and I like watching it.  When I lived in LA we went to some tourneys at that was really cool to see these people do it in person.

and I'm pretty sure its safe to say wobbie would fall outside the fit person category.

So jealous.  My shoulder gave out on me so I had to stop playing.  Need surgery to fix it but just not worth it.

Yeah exactly.  I'd bet he isn't in Olympic shape.

I played indoor volleyball until I was about 40. Loved it.  I think it's so fun.  Two torn ACLs means no beach stuff sports though.

I love that the US women's 4x400 (*edit, I put 4x100, it was the 4x400, typo corrected) demolished....and they did it with all time great Felix (she went to USC, fight on!) and Mu, the teenager from New Jersey as part of the team.  Got an older, mother, and a gal who just turned 19

    Badass group of ladies.

They're good.  And they benefit the most from the non MLB format.

No,  they don't have better players overall.  If they did,  you'd see more Japanese players in the show.

I meant they dont specialize, like say pitchers who dont hit etc...

adept at all aspects of the game...

I think it's a cool sport but that is silly.
(So is saying it is a joke sport, of course....)

You ever played sand volleyball? It's hard as hell on you and that's when you have 3 or 4 people and not spiking and blocking.  It's no joke. Sand anything is 3x harder than pavement,  grass,  etc.
It is tough. agreed. I just can’t pull for people who’s training consists of going to the beach everyday.

Have they added tubing down a lazy river?
Used to go to Raging Waters (Outside LA) all the time as a kid. I’d spend about an hour a day in the lazy River picking up change from the bottom people dropped then go get an ice cream.
Probably can’t do that anymore since most people are cashless.
