As someone who has had tickets to the Amsterdam shows it is beyond annoying and really stupid that they’re going to add new shows before making shows up and those new shows are the reason Amsterdam had to be moved AGAIN. It makes sense if it was them trying to squeeze in the make ups. This band is getting super fucking frustrating.

Now pretend you had tix to B’more and they couldn’t be bothered when announcing the cancellation that there would be anything concrete for those fans that held tix for two years getting any priority for a future show

Need to add a city with a stadium but no sports teams that will make the NBA/NHL playoffs.  Maybe a residency in Detroit  :D
It might not be the ideal location, but Gila River Arena in Glendale. Thus isn't even a knock on the Coyotes - they're playing in a college rink for the next few seasons.

With Ed's tour originally scheduled to end last night, I think we are officially in "could be the day" territory.

Agreed. Although I'm curious if the need to reschedule the Californian shows is going to delay the announcement by a week

I'm having trouble with this concept of a Baltimore area make-up date. On one hand, I held my floor 10Club tickets for two years and would very much like to believe they have been working on a back-up plan. The quote from Peter Angelos about concerts at Camden Yards did not help me to stay rational. Haha!

On the other hand, I had GA tickets to Raleigh when I lived there. Their letter of cancellation said they'd come back when the law was repealed. It has been 5 years since the repeal went into effect and we haven't seen PJ schedule a show in Raleigh yet. So, it's pretty easy to remain skeptical that the band as an organization is really in-tune with the fans on these types of decisions.

True. I latched onto his "residency" comment. No NHL team in the arena for the foreseeable future, no NBA team, plenty of open dates for a run of shows.

  • Did we get any further details from the poster who said that Nashville was for sure in the Fall?

Yeah, I remember seeing this as well. I have tickets to Nashville and both Oaklands and I'm really hoping they both take place in May. I keep going back to the original message by PJ in November saying that the postponed shows will BEGIN in May, not necessarily all take place IN May.

Yup, "will begin" in May could mean 2 shows.

At this point, nothing would surprise me.

That doesn't even take into account the views/posts (excluding the covid-arguing spiral that shut it down) from the first closed thread.

I have a friend in the entertainment industry who is very connected, and he just texted me out of the blue “heard about the Pearl Jam Vegas residency”, assuming I already knew. He had no other info.

So I’d personally trust that rumor from yesterday 100% now.

There is no chance at a Vegas residency this year . Sure they maybe playing at a venue that likes to have residencies but that does not mean they are having one.
