The admin knows they can do this because they already rolled ABC once over the Stephanopolous statement. They're cucks.
    It's a hopeless situation...

Kimmel used to do the Man Show like 15 or 20 years ago with Adam Corolla. That’s where he did black face I think.

Originally I disagreed with the free speech argument. But after finding out a federal agency essentially threatened action for inaction, absolutely.

All of a sudden we’ll have “Live With Jimmy Kimmel” on Netflix for a massive contract. This is going to end up very well for him.

Basic cable companies are on their way out. Streaming is it. Has been for a while. Trump and his stupid base just put the nail in that coffin and made liberal comics a shit ton of money. MAGA dopes lose again. Late night shows and sports were the only thing people younger than 65 watch on cable networks. Just look st this microcosm. Most
of are over 50 and I don’t ever see anyone mentioning what they watched on ABC last night.

During the writers strike he did a podcast with the other late night hosts. On an episode he was saying before the strike, he was seriously starting to retire. So as of 2 years ago, ending the show was on his mind. This could hasten it.

And Sinclair Communications (conservative media conglomerate that owes tons of local US stations) is saying this is not enough and Kimmel should be fired.

This certainly makes the Colbert thing seem more like a setup too and not about the money (I believe Kimmel also said there was no way Colbert show was losing that much money)

would ck really want people getting fired over things they say about him? the free speech advocate that he was?

if i were him i wouldn't care. i'd be dead. roast me, i don't care.

people are making a huge issue out of this.
Yes he would.  He wasn't really interested in debate at all....he was interested in making small clips of "Gotcha Lib".  He would have wanted all of this as much as he wanted all women in the kitchen.  It's his dream come true.

    really? what did he say?
he  basically said that maga was trying to do everything it could to distract from the idea that the killer may have been maga....then he played the clip of trump completely pushing Kirk to the side and yapping about the new big beautiful ballroom.

Also, that's not what free speech is. Only exception is Kimmel since the FCC made a comment prior to his suspension.

I would guess yes. Unless he's different than the rest, the free speech is for me and not for thee. "This is different. This is about RESPECT."

Thats not what free speech is. You can't celebrate or openly mock the cold murder of someone and expect your employer to be okay with that. That's not what free speech is.
