Anyone interested in a GA wristband for both days please pm. Don’t mind not recouping cost paid. Hope to recover something and someone else can enjoy the show.
Anyone else’s wristbands been stuck for a few days with no scheduled delivery?

Mine are in the same boat. Last notification was 9/2 in Atlanta with delivery date of Friday. Then showed same notification as above and no additional updates.
If they don't show up, I think you can get new ones at Will Call.
Mine arrived on Saturday. But I have a couple packages that haven’t moved in a few days. I think it’s a combo of the holiday weekend and all the damage caused by Ida slowing down the mail.

My wife wife and I have decided to just hit the PJ show in order to reduce our Covid Risk. That was pretty much the only way I could convince her to go at this point. We are both vaxed and I have gotten a booster too; but we feel hanging out with 30 K people for 10 hours for two days in a row is basically asking to get infected. Looking forward to the PJ show. We will show up at 7ish. Grab a spot in the back and chill. I am bummed we won't see all those other acts; but that's the plan at this point. We were front row for their last show at Fenway 2018; so being all the way in the back for this one is all good. I will being scouring youtube for vids of all the acts we don't see.
I think we all can agree that arena or shed shows would be way better. I personally hate festivals now that I'm pushing 40, but it's what you make of it.
Find a spot, drink some beers and hang with friends listening to live PJ sounds pretty fucking good regardless of venue.
That is all I am going to do. Fly in day of show. Relax at hotel. Arriving 30 minutes prior to PJ. Enjoy the show with a beer at the back of the venue. Leave when the first notes of Alive hit and beat traffic.
Staying next to the venue for Ohana so those shows will be more enjoyable.
I’m with you all as well. You won’t catch me rushing to the venue or the front.
Gonna show up when I show up, not worry about bathroom and food access, stand wherever I land come 7 pm and enjoy the show

I see that A LOT of us are getting there, basically, just in time for Pearl Jam and hanging in the back.
Well, I'm already in line and I have the Sharpie ready to write the numbers on each of our hands. It's too late as I already wrote Last on my hand>LOL
Who wants to be next to last?>HA
I can hardly wait!!
Yep I’ll be all the way in the back. Probably barely see the stage lol.
Only way I m heading up front is if my daughter gives my “it’s my first Pearl Jam show and I want to go closer to the stage “ look. Fingers crossed that doesn’t happen.
I have to say, I’m shocked at the number of people trying to sell their SHN tickets for face/less than face on some of the other pages
I thought demand for the first show back in 3+ years would be insane but I guess I was wrong
Delta variant and breakthrough Covid cases for the vaccinated may be a big reason folks are shying away.
It's also a 2 day festival, where you can't just buy single day admission, that's a pain in the balls for a lot of people to get to, and where they will play 2/3 of an arena show.
It’s going to be a long day for me. Taking the train to arrive in Asbury Park around 6:00, PJ goes on 8:30-10:30, then I hope to walk back to the station to catch the last train back at 11:57. Otherwise, next train is 5:43 a.m. Going solo.
p.s. ‘I ain’t gots no balls’
@Renfield Remember that train doesn't go directly to nyc, you have to switch in Long Branch.
With PJ set ending at 1030pm it seems quite likely to make the 1157pm train to Long Branch. The Long Branch to NYP train leaves at 1218am.
Just trying to understand this - do we need to switch trains? If so, is there a chance we would miss the train from Long Branch to NYP, or does it wait for passengers to switch to this train from the connecting train?

Yes you have to switch physical trains. Ap to long branch is a different rail size than long branch to penn.

There should be a waiting period if it’s a planned connection. I’m hoping to walk to the train station. Transportation at the end of the show sounds impossible. And I’m staying until pj stops playing. I’ll take the 5:43 a.m. if I have to.
Does the return ticket from Asbury Park station to Penn Station be bought way in advance? Is it possible for it to be too crowded and not be able to get on it? Finally made the decision to attend this show and staying in NYC seems way better than trying to get a hotel near the festival.
