Well I hope that isn’t implemented for any of my shows scheduled in the near future. Especially since it wasn’t said prior to sale. If it is, I better get my money back. Granted my situation is more unique... I had covid not too long ago and doc told me not to get the vaccine until 90 days after my last day of quarantine. (For the first bullet that is if it was the only option)

You are right. I was typing as if the first bullet was the only option given and didn't clarify.

Thankfully all I had was a mild fever for a few days. Not bad in my case

If proof of vaccine is required, FL shows will be out. :| Our Governor signed a bill as the vaccines were coming out outlawing having to provide proof of vaccine.

So far, DeathSantis' ban has been toothless. Norwegian Cruise Lines sued him & the state of FL over the executive order, so it's navigating the court system. Additionally, there's nothing stopping touring bands (whose LLC's are based in other states) from asking for proof of vaccination (or a negative test/60+ antibodies test) before allowing entry to one of their shows. The EO only affected FL *venues* from putting said stipulation in place (at least, that's how I read it).
Side note, Disney has been pretty much writing it's own rule book & the Guv'ner has smartly kept his nose out of it (yet takes credit for whatever small successes they have).
PJ'll return to Florida eventually, and they'll do it their way.
Besides, Tampa shows are always epic ;)

We have a trip to Disney planned for next month so we’ve been keeping an eye on COVID related issues, especially at the theme park.  Right now, Disney requires masks on transportation like busses and monorail.  They enforce that rule pretty well.  For everywhere else… Their official policy on masks indoors is that non-vaccinated people are supposed to wear a mask. But there is zero enforcement of that rule based on reports that almost no one is wearing a mask inside attractions, restaurants and hotels.

This is what I predict (but could be wrong)
This year will be festivals and smaller run cities or one off cities scattered around the festivals
I've seen bands schedule tours with like 10 cities max
I think next year will be full scaled tours.
I guess it's better than last year with 0 shows.
I'm getting worried about upcoming tours rescheduling tours again, though. I'm not gonna lie
However, Lollapalooza is in I think 2-3 weeks.... it's apparently still on and they have to started to built part of the sets..
same as Bonnaroo. They shared pictures of the arch already built. If they were hesitant, wouldn't they have not already start to built for the show? I hope I'm right. gahhhhhhh. I need live music!

Perhaps trying to throw a 30th anniversary show at Dana Point the week after Ohana Fest and will want to be sure it sells out prior to announcing any further plans? Could be the reason for the radio silence for all other shows including rescheduled shows???

    Just thinking out loud here.

My prediction is the hype around an Encore is teasing of a streaming event BEFORE this year's festival, showing performances from previous festivals.

As someone who most likely won't be attending Ohana, I'm hoping this is another streaming event.  Would love to see the footage from this years Ohana festival streamed over the net :
I've been every year but one and the one I missed I was able to livestream on Periscope. Get the app if you don't have it and 99% chance someone will be streaming it on there. It worked out great and made us feel like we were there. I'll be there this year if it happens but Covid is rearing its ugly head again with a mask mandate back in place in LA and numbers spiking.

Friend of mine was telling me about a music festival on colorado that had mandatory tests, or proof of vaccination but almost 1000 people got Covid.    I guess someone forged vaccination documents?

Well, that's a Dutch festival you posted a link to, not a Colorado Festival.

But regardless, someone needs to make another thread for COVID related tour shit so this thing doesn't go sideways like the last one.

ok, back on topic, and sorry for posting the wrong link.

Concerts!! 2 days since my vaccine, 12 days 'til I'm ripe.

As it stands my first concert will be Nov. 3 for the Tea Party/Headstones/Moist tour.    Could use a PJ show in there sooner or later :)

I vote yes for whatever the Ohana teaser is.
Both early hints were at 12pm eastern.

    What are we expecting here?
    Another hint?
    Nothing at all?
    Some encore stream announcement?
An email and announcement telling us to get ready for more shows?
    Something not mentioned?

For them to be hinting about a streaming event this far out for the 2021 shows I find that very unlikely though maybe since its practically sold out. Also if it was past shows would they be doing multiple posts like this to hype it up? The stream they did in the past for Covid had no hype like this I do not think... I am intrigued at the very least!

I'm thinking one more teaser, then anyone's guess is as good as mine. Wishful thinking is another show or shows that following weekend, but who knows.

I don't think it has to do with a streaming event though, mostly for the reasons you already stated.
