Like that Texas Rangers full stadium game?  Surely CNN will give an update on that super-spreader event that..... wasn't?

I would much rather have a President who flubs a word on occasion than one who can't describe an idea without using "huge, best, biggest or perfect", and has the vocabulary of grade school drop out. (no disrespect intended to grade school drop outs)

Globe Life Park holds 49,115 people
Texas holds over 29 million people

Globe Life Park can hold 0.17% of the entire state of TX

critical thinking is not your friend

Just using the same critical thinking as our lead epidemiologist Anthony Fauci who called a 150 person event a "superspreader"....

    https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/white-house/fauci-calls-amy-coney-barrett-ceremony-rose-garden-superspreader-event-n1242781

Trump announced Barrett, a federal appeals judge, as his nominee to replace Ruth Bader Ginsburg as the next Supreme Court justice at an outdoor ceremony Sept. 26, attended by more than 150 people, many of whom did not wear masks or practice social distancing.

    Are you though?

It was a flub.  The man's not perfect.  He also has a speech impediment.  He also has a heart and a soul, something that was missing in the White House the 4 previous years.

Besides, who could not figure out he meant gov, not "gum"?.  It's just not that big a deal.  Keep fishing.
    Trolls be trolling, Bri

Oh, believe me, I know- we all know- what your gig is.  AMT trolls come and go.  None have ever stuck around more than a year or two on average.   Have fun while it lasts.
Or, maybe really engage here in some constructive discourse.  Your choice, Fly.

ah, bless yer little making-fun-of-a-stutter heart.
Stupid thing to be making fun of. But that wasn’t a stutter. Just a slip. Still, who cares.
Does Joe have a real stutter? I’ve never heard it.
It's  been well documented that he grew up with a stutter.
President Joe Biden | Stuttering Foundation: A Nonprofit Organization Helping Those Who Stutter https://www.stutteringhelp.org/content/president-joe-biden

"It has nothing to do with your intelligence quotient. It has nothing to do with your intellectual makeup," Biden said. "You know, stuttering, when you think about it, is the only handicap that people still laugh about. That still humiliate people about. And they don't even mean to."
I was curious because I had, and still do but not as bad, a stutter.
Growing up in the 80s no one understood. My friend‘s parents literally would ask “why do you talk like that?” My dad thought I just needed practice talking and would make me say tongue twisters . When that didn’t work we moved to our times tables. After just a couple weeks of being made to constantly repeat my times tables it did have an impact....my 3rd grade teacher sent me to the 4th grade class for math lessons.
Biden was right, and I would even add it’s probably the only disability that’s socially acceptable to make fun of.

It's not acceptable here - and shouldn't be anywhere. Personally I don't care if my president has a stutter, I'd just like his or her governing over the country to be good for us...and the rest of the world too. :)

That’s quite the cop out in my opinion.  They push gun control measures that they know will fail, so I don’t think that’s the story.  I think he is just one of those old farts that believes “marijuana is bad”.  He sure used it on his platform to get elected, though.  Hell, he could even enact some executive orders to decriminalize it at the very least…The marijuana prohibition has led to countless black incarcerations and deaths and you would think a non-racist president would push against it a little bit, especially in the current environment with police racism in the spotlight.  It is a huge “systematic racism” related policy still being heavily utilized in a large portion of the country to put black people in jail.
No surprise, though, he is known for supporting some pretty racist policies throughout his career in politics.

No, I mostly made fun of Trump if you look back.  If I ever did defend a Trump’s policy, I’m pretty sure I would have been deemed a racist by proxy, though.  Does Biden and his supporters get a pass for his support of racist policies? I guess I missed that memo.

Lol....republicans tried to label him a racist and a bunch of other things during the campaign. The majority of the country knows that is not who Biden is and that is why those attacks never stick to him with anyone who is not a member of the Trump base.

Difference being, President Biden has grown, changed with the times, changed his views and its exemplified in his Administration appointments, his VP pick, personal life and who he calls his friends. POOTWH and the repubs? Not so much.

Don't you have a border crisis to be outraged about?

I never deemed anyone a racist "by proxy". if someone else did, talk to them.

Federal marijuana legalization is not the topic you want to run on going into the mid-terms. Let more states do it on their own and when you reach critical mass, that would be the time to loosen banking restrictions and criminal penalties. Might need furhter culling of the herd to get there but it'll get there. The feds are always behind the times. President Biden is playing smart politics.

That’s what I’m saying.  Blacks and Hispanics have disproportionately been targeted and prosecuted for marijuana related crimes since prohibition was enacted.  If you don’t see that as “systematic racism”, then what is?  It even calls it a racist policy in the article you quoted me on.

PJP, I'm not understanding how you see this as a racism issue.  True, a lot of us honky crackers smoke weed, but so do many Blacks, Hispanics, Asians, and Islanders.  Maybe even some Inuit (when they can get it.  Doesn't grow well in tundra.)
That’s what I’m saying.  Blacks and Hispanics gave disproportionately been targeted and prosecuted for marijuana related crimes since prohibition was enacted.  If you don’t see that as “systematic racism”, then what is?  It even calls it a racist policy in the article you quoted me on.
we all know that. but it's a losing issue for Biden, at least at this point, as H2M pointed out. I don't see it happening any time soon at the federal level. plus, he's only 100 days into his term. did you really expect him to enact all his policies in the first 3 months and ride out the next 3 1/2 years and put a flag on his desk that says "mission accomplished"?

I know. Obama was so fucking racist.
??? Where did that even come from?  Did Obama support the racist crime bills in the 90s that led to black people getting arrested at a vastly higher rate than non-black people?  Biden’s political career extends a lot further back than Obama’s.

I don’t read what H2M posts anymore, but are you saying that if he does not try to legalize it after 3.5 years, then he can be called a racist?  When is the appropriate time?

the point is, at least how I'm taking it, is that if you call Biden a racist for not pushing for legislation to decriminalize weed, then you'd also have to call Obama a racist for the same reason.
