maybe its a good idea to have NARA staff on hand sorting documents etc during transitions..... and maybe better real time record keeping of who has what at a given time within the WH, VP house and offices

So let’s talk about the why.

why wouldn’t they have 86’d these docs? Unlike trump where they knew he had them, these seem to have been a surprise.  I think he had them because he was working on his memoire in 2017 and a lot of it was focused on his foreign affairs as vp.  I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt that he simply forgot they were there.  But who flagged them?! To me, that’s very interesting.  No way do I believe they were randomly discovered.  Things in our govt don’t happen that way.

Yes,  that was my understanding.  They were moving out of that office and the documents were discovered.

Exactly....it's very likely that the majority of the docs found with Biden and even tRump are low level classifications. STuff labeled classifed but no one would be able to utilize any of the information.

We do know that some of tRump's docs were DoD items I'm pretty sure.

Until we know the exact type for either one it will be hard to judge. Even MSNBC is beating up Biden pretty bad which always makes me want to kick people in the nuts when they say that the left buries "news" that is detrimental to democrats. That's a total crock of shit.

What likely happened is that someone discovered a box.  That person(s) made a phone call to someone in charge who then wisely contacted lawyers to review what was in the box.  Once understood, NARA or the DOJ were likely contacted.

I’m fairly certain Biden lied prior to his presidency and according to attached his “confused” statements still continue.  

I’m not saying he’s the worse president ever just saying he’s not the greatest.  

Time will tell the truth but only if we know what documents Biden kept.

Immediately? Don’t know why “apparently” is in quotes, but nothing about it has been immediate.

My apologies if I missed someone else posting this..but why is Biden’s office being cleaned out two years after he left?  I think whomever was in charge of maintaining classified documents for history is in trouble and that because of the huge mistake they’re now finally looking at what may have been missed in the past.  Just seems strange that two years pass before he decides to have it packed up.
