adding to the prior discussion about who is deplorable or not, i can forgive someone for voting for trump the first time. anybody that voted for him twice is someone that i do not forgive or even want to know. that is where i am at with the concept of being deplorable.

Buh, buh, buh deplorables. Notice the dates? Nah, no percentage of deplorables in ‘Murica, none at all.
White-supremacist groups continued in 2021 to distribute propaganda at a historically high rate, a report published Thursday says, part of what some experts call an increasingly panicked reaction to growing diversity in America.
The Anti-Defamation League’s research found 4,851 reported cases of white-supremacist propaganda in 2021, including racist, antisemitic and anti-LGBTQ items. That’s down 5 percent from 2020 but way up from 294 cases in 2017, when the anti-hate organization began observing a rise in white-supremacist activity. ADL researchers found 1,206 incidents of propaganda in 2018 and 2,714 in 2019.
The ADL found a 27 percent increase in distributions of antisemitic propaganda, with 277 incidents in 2020 and 352 in 2021, including stickers outside a California synagogue proclaiming “Hitler was right” and dozens of drops across the country of fliers blaming Jews for the coronavirus.

What do you mean? Are you asking how many jobs were lost and is this just working our way up to break even? If so, there's certainly some accuracy in that. If you are asking how this compared to 2019, well then quite a bit better. You can see the average was 200-300k per month in 2018, but under 200k per month consistently in 2019.

That is always my question when I see these numbers as well. I understand the pandemic is a once in a lifetime event that rocked the economy and employment numbers, but I still want to see what things look like compared to dec 2019- february 2020.

honestly that doesn't matter....the trendline should be moving forward. Unemployment is low.
Too many factors are involved to compare these things to figures from three years ago.

Major plus one!
“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man [or woman] who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”
I had assumed Boebert didn’t realize he was talking about his son when she yelled that. She yelled out when he mentioned flag draped coffin and before he mentioned his son was one of them. I kept that to myself because it’s still classless and poor taste so I didn’t want to come across as defending her. But I saw a tweet where she double-downed on her comment. So if she didn’t know, she clearly doesn’t care. I saw a clip where even Lindsey Graham was mouthing “o shut up” when she yelled out.

She is a deplorable human being.
she 100% is, but I was going to mention the same thing that mace was going to, that she apparently started heckling PRIOR TO Biden mentioning his son. But yeah, if she doubled down on that, ick.
I really can't stand how both sides act like children in congress; shouting and booing. if that shit is done in canadian parliament, the speaker admonishes the guilty party the way they should be. occasionally they get ejected for poor behaviour.
Yeah if she showed any remorse about doing it, then yeah, maybe you give her the benefit of the doubt. But she's trash for heckling during it anyway and then doubling down on it afterwards makes her an even bigger garbage human being.

Your modern day Republican party, folks.
disagree on that last point. those two people don't represent the whole party. the majority of them probably can't stand those two. not unlike how I'm sure a lot of democrats are tired of the squad (not comparing those groups as people, just to be clear).

If that's true, then I am sure there are plenty of members who condemned that behavior, right?

they do a better job of staying a unified party, and that's why....they don't openly criticize the bahaviour of others in their party. now, don't get me wrong: they SHOULD. But they don't.
