    Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance claimed Monday that Vice President Kamala Harris is trying to silence Christians and throw anti-abortion advocates in jail, arguing she is “a chief opponent of freedom of conscience, of free speech and of religious liberty in this country.”

    “You talk about Kamala Harris pursuing policy after policy after policy to censor Christians, to silence people, to prevent them from exercising their rights, and I think the contrast in this election couldn’t be any more clear: Whether you’re a person of faith or not, whether you’re a Christian, a Jew or any other faith, Donald Trump and I believe the First Amendment protects your right to live your faith as you see fit and raise your children in the values that matter to you,” Vance said at the Believers and Ballots Coalition event inside Freedom House Church. 

    Speaking specifically on abortion, Vance said Republicans are the “pro-life party,” and while he acknowledged there will be disagreements among conservatives, he argued Harris goes beyond disagreement.

    “Kamala Harris is not just disagreeing with us on the particulars of public policy. She is trying to throw people in prison who share our values for having the audacity to advocate for those values in the public space,” Vance claimed.

Someone called the cops on him last fall for shoving sticks in the storm drain and he tried to come over and intimidate my wife about it thinking she called. Said he paid his taxes. Like that means you can do whatever you want. Just an asshole.

    lol...sounds like my neighbor...thankfully they divorced and moved out

    He was having a circular asphalt drive put in and someone called the city to check his permits. He was getting ready to do it without any sort of permit. I'm not exactly sure what he needed but it went from a regular drive to circular so there are two street entrances now. He got it approved but they were sure that we called the city on them.

    The most authoritarian trait I have is that I would outlaw leaf blowers.
