at any rate, i hope texas throws him out on his ass this cycle.

seen reporting that internal polling shows he is in real danger of losing....
One can only hope for the good of Texas and the rest of the country. Exile this goober to Newsmax. No way anyone will want to listen to or hear from him once he's gone.

I didn’t know she was gay. Nor do I care. But those repubs? Look out. MSG rally is this afternoon, who’s going?

Arik Wolk, the Democratic party of Wisconsin’s Rapid Response Director, called the ads “a pretty desperate and disgusting attack that is mainly designed to detract from Eric Hovde’s record and unpopularity with the people of Wisconsin”. Wolk also pointed to a Hovde ad that draws attention to Baldwin’s partner Maria Brisbane’s work as a financial adviser and alleges Baldwin is “in bed with Wall Street” as an example of the Hovde campaign highlighting Baldwin’s identity as a gay woman. “Wisconsinites have made it clear that they support Tammy Baldwin, regardless of her sexual identity,” said Wolk.

Speaking of which, will Eric Adams be there along side Ruddy Ghouliani?

Gotta work hard for that pardon.

As a result of those false certifications, ADAMS’s 2021 mayoral campaign received more than $10,000,000 in public funds.

  • I love when I see R's online everywhere claiming democrats are the "party of racists", and then you cut to Trump's fucking rally, where Tony Hinchcliffe literally called Puerto Rico a floating pile of garbage, and wished PR's stopped reproducing, my god. Just change the name of the party to Grand Old Projection.

Hes a comedian though. He makes fun of everyone. As he should. It’s just not a good look during a political rally. It doesn’t belong there. Weird choice to have him there but what do I know.

True. I still think those jokes on a comedy stage hit different than at a political rally
  • the first rule of comedy is it is not funny to punch down on marginalized groups of people that are not in power. so that maga dude from the rally yesterday is not a comedian. he is just an asshole trying to use the concept of comedy to shield himself from criticism.

if you have to explain your joke to someone, or if you have to say something like "it's not my fault you didn't get my joke." it was not funny and you should rewrite it and present it again.

when you use the word "ch*nk" to make fun of the Asian comedian that just performed before you, you aren't funny.  Well, I guess maybe to the brainless Bro Rogans you are, but to normal people, you aren't. You are just a fucking asshole. There's real comedy, that has nuance and takes a lot of work to get right, then there's just fucking caveman talk. I don't think there should be limits on comedy topics, you can literally make anything funny if done right, but just using shitty slurs is not comedy. It's the same as calling someone a fag in grade 5 recess just to get a laugh. It's not funny. It's bullying.

I get it if you don’t find that low brow humor funny but to belittle anyone that does is ridiculous. I like crude comedy. South Park, family guy, roasts… the meaner the better. I’ve laughed at racial jokes during comedy skits or stand up specials. Am I racist? If those jokes didn’t take place at a Trump rally ( which they shouldn’t have) and on a stand up stage at a comedy club, no one would bat an eye. Sounds like a lot of comedy experts are on the forum. A lot of investing experts too. Anyone take their own advice a month ago and buy the dip?

Another woman killed by the Republicans.

So odd that the mainstream media doesn't cover these events. We have to donate money to Propublica or else nobody would know about this.

I also dig low brow like the ones you mentioned. I'm not belittling anyone but racists. Racial jokes have to have nuance to them. A decent set up. This was just a flat out racist statement that racists find funny. There was nothing "comedic" about it.

Now take those same jokes and imagine they were made anywhere other than a stand-up stage. They shouldn’t even be made in a subway station let alone presidential campaign rally stage. That seems incredibly obvious to me.

Yea I literally said that. I don’t think a roast comedian belongs at a political rally. I also don’t think celebrities belong there either but that’s just me.

Oh I'm well aware. Just thought that was a very odd answer to give before an election, especially in light of that most of the projects underway through this act are in red areas. Meaning magafolk Republican whatever are the ones most impacted by the loss of the jobs that will not come if implemented
