So...from that poster, the big changes to my eyes: Friday - Add Black Pumas (remove Dermot Kennedy) Saturday - Add Spoon, Cold War Kids Sunday - Add Brandi Carlile (remove the Pretenders)
Saturday, which I don't have tix to, just got a lot better. But then again so did Friday
(edit: looks like Sunday charity is sold out or hiding in someone's cart)
cheaper than what StubHub has right now

Anyone think they will drop more GA Passes that are regular price vs. platinum when this thing gets officially announced? Or another 10C lotto?
Not sure... I bought back in April and soon after things started selling out. The Charity tickets started popping up for 2020 Spring Tour dates for sold out shows, so likely no additional 10c offerings.
How is it going to work for international visitors with tickets already?
Many countries are way behind with their vaccination schedules, I haven't even received my first dose yet plus our country is planning on implementing a 4 month wait between doses, meaning my second could come after the festival.

No more Gang of Youths, which is (a) surprising because they had said last year that they’d play the postponed date but (b) less surprising since they also disappeared from the SHN bill.

The plan is to have everyone have a double shot by the end of September in Canada. I agree though its hard to make plans with the uncertainty of getting the double shot as well as if and when the borders will open up and no isolation upon return.
Would have been nice to see Gang of Youths, but Cold War Kids is a good trade-off.
Not too excited about Spoon.....they have always been a poorman's Wilco IMHO.
Pretenders would have been nice to see, though Chrissie focused more on the more recent material last time I saw her. I was hoping to see Eddie play an old song with her.

Pretenders would have been fine, but I love Brandi Carlile, so I'm thrilled with that trade.
Have any of your been to this fest? What is it like on the beach? Are people putting down towels and "claiming" space all over the beach? Just curious.
Love the lineup changes. It's going to be an amazing weekend for anyone who can get their tickets... I have two Friday, but really hope to go both Friday and Sunday. If anyone has an extra Sunday and might be willing to sell or trade for a Friday, please let me know!

You can’t claim that way anywhere near the main stage-you have to stay standing, even it means 11AM-9PM. The “claim with a towel” starts a pretty good distance from the stage and isn’t that great of a strategy if you’re trying to watch second stage acts as well

I've been every year of the festival. It's not actually on the sand. It's basically right next to the beach on a grassy park area and the fenced boundary of the festival is right up to the sand of the beach. People put down towels earlier in the day, but closer to the main stage is typically standing only and by the time it gets closer to the headliners, everyone's standing shoulder-to-shoulder. There is a grandstand at the rear of the festival area for people that wish to sit.

i've gone every year since the first Ohana and outside of guarding the rail its fairly easy to walk up and get a pretty close spot during the intermission between the act before Ed and Ed - which is a lot better than sitting all day, you actually get to enjoy the entire festival. eat, drink, go to the bathroom, listen to other acts. besides being pricey, Ohana is hard to beat.

Wow---I don't think Wilco and Spoon are even close to sounding the same. I love them both, but just my opinion. To each, their own.
