he has a ton of knowledge about a wide range of topics, and especially topics that are very anecdotal and of interest to him. unfortunately he applies very unsound logic to some of them.
I wish he'd stay away from the meathead banter like this about very important topics. everyone of his similar stature has an opinion on things; some care about the potential backlash of saying it publicly. he doesn't. he has said numerous times to people who are just becoming famous/known: "don't read the comments".

I don’t think he should be given a pass due to his guests (yes, Faxxxxii!), and as I said, it was an irresponsible, even uninformed, thing for him to say.
I consider one version of a fool to be someone who relies on a sole person/organization as their news source. Thank goodness I don’t.
