    Biden

ill ask all of you that support Biden this. Which political group is out there destroying our streets? Attacking police? Attacking innocents? Trying to moleste the constitution? Overall destroying the american way of life? It certainly isn’t the Republicans. In the direction this country is moving, is it what you want to leave to your children? Violence? Anarchy? No structure? I agree that nothing is perfect, but what is being done right now is flat out WRONG.

You guys can bash me all you want, but that won’t make you right. Open your eyes to what’s happening. Your party is destroying our country, successfully.
So - Im hardly a democrat but I've become more of one as the republican party moves away from it's core foundation items.  I'll bite an answer your questions and ask you a few:
    1) What political group is out there destroying our streets? No political group.  It's opportunists for the most part doing damage. I would ask you what is the root cause, but you won't be honest.
    2) Attacking police?  Hmmm you'd have to tell me what you are using for "attack" physical or verbal.  What group are police attacking through illegal stops and unnecessary interaction and escalation?
    3) Molest the constitution?  That's easy.  Its Trump and his "republican" enablers.
    4) Destroy the american way of life?  Again trump and his enablers.  Unless by 'american' you mean rich white people.  Which I think you do.
    5) Is this what I want to leave my kid? No way.  That's why I will vote trump out.

Why do you add "open your eyes"?  My eyes are wide open.  I'm disappointing in what has become of a once pretty good party.  I'm disappointed that instead of personal freedom and fiscal conservatism the GOP of 2020 is for racism, Power at all costs, enabling only the top 1%, fascism, anti-constitutional morons that are all headline with no substance.  Find a rallying cry, have no plan, execute no plan other then to grab more power.  I'm frankly shocked that every true republican doesn't see a lot of this the same way I do.

anytime i see someone use "open your eyes", I immediately keep scrolling. not worth the brain power, however infinitesimal required.
    Flight Risk out NOW!

Hmmm.. now I'm not an expert at reading graphs @randynester but I don't see 4.2% in here anywhere.  Gee, I wonder if that propaganda list could be wrong anywhere else?  Is AA unemployment at a record low today?  Hispanic?  Women?

Sometimes it makes sense to think for yourself instead of copying/pasting bullshit.

We were promised 4% GDP growth quarter over quarter for 10 years to pay for the $1.5 Trillion tax cut that appears on the OP's list. I don't see any such thing and its never happened in the history of the US. But you know, MAGA and we need to open our eyes.

Don't worry. Biden's only trying to reach out to people willing to think. You don't seem to belong to his target audience.

This response sums up Trump supporters perfectly. You got called out for your bullshit and you respond by posting a meme, that quite possibly originated by a Russian troll on reddit or something.

Is this a joke? You didn't see the replies,  Hannity?

So a guy who has been in politics since the stone ages and you had to go back 12 years to find "something" that he was remotely attached to for an accomplishment? That's f'ing funny.
Oh, so now there are new rules.  Okay, why don't you cement the goal post here for a second so we know the rules.  First, he's been out for 4 years.  So let's throw in the negotiation of JCPOA.  How's that work for you?  Second, he was the key cog in the negotiation of the Paris climate deal.

Now since we're playing stupid fucking games, how about this promise.. Trump promised to repeal Obamacare on day one, and replace it with something cheaper and better.  How's that coming?  Can I get an update on that campaign promise?  What about de-nuking the Korean Peninsula?  Is that done yet?  What about Iran?  He pulled out of the JCPOA.  What has he replaced it with?  Oh right, nothing.  Iran is enriching again.

    Inform yourself.
Did Mexico pay for the wall? Has the Wall been built? What about the deficit? What's that number now?
Now now now......the wall was Trump's primary campaign promise. How dare you insinuate that he did not actually follow through!

No Mexico did not pay for it despite Trump conditioning all of his supporters, such as the esteemed mr @randynester , to believe. Who cares who pays for things though, right? Buy now and pay later (or just declare bankruptcy) has been the president's motto his entire life. Why start worrying about things like that now? He is a true conservative!

No, there have been many miles of new wall created. By many, of course, I mean three.

Biggest promise made! Biggest promise...kept? Oh shit. Never mind....

Hahaha.....Trump administration announces they are trying to get rid of Obamacare again. They announce this on a day where a new poll shows close to 60% support the program and we're in the middle of a global pandemic.

It's almost as if Trump doesn't want to win.
That's what I was thinking.  But it really goes to the point that he has no political instinct other than to hide in his base.  They aren't even trying to expand their coalition anymore.  It's going to be about turnout for him.
Saw an interview with James Carville last night and he was saying he thinks the odds are greater that Trump resigns than losing the election. I sincerely doubt that will happen and I couldn't quite tell if he was being totally serious or not but it got me thinking...

Would you rather Trump resign in disgrace in which he'll likely make up an excuse....or would you rather him lose bigly to Biden?
My October Surprise is that Team Trump Treason resigns when it becomes obvious he's going to lose and lose big. Pence then pardons him for crimes that MAY have been committed prior to and/or during his presidency. SDNY is waiting to drop indictments and the risk is too big to lose the election and end up looking at spending the rest of his life in prison. Team Trump Treason departs the White House to Andrews in the dead of night, flies to Palm Beach and hides until he becomes a voice on Faux News criticizing President Sleepy Woke Joe.
well accepting the pardon is admitting guilt......

If this rambling, word-salad of a sentence (yes, this is one goddamned sentence) on Iran from a self-proclaimed "very stable genius" moves you due to it's oratory brilliance, it says volumes about you.
“Look, having nuclear — my uncle was a great professor and scientist and engineer, Dr. John Trump at MIT; good genes, very good genes, OK, very smart, the Wharton School of Finance, very good, very smart — you know, if you’re a conservative Republican, if I were a liberal, if, like, OK, if I ran as a liberal Democrat, they would say I’m one of the smartest people anywhere in the world — it’s true! — but when you’re a conservative Republican they try — oh, do they do a number — that’s why I always start off: Went to Wharton, was a good student, went there, went there, did this, built a fortune — you know I have to give my like credentials all the time, because we’re a little disadvantaged — but you look at the nuclear deal, the thing that really bothers me — it would have been so easy, and it’s not as important as these lives are — nuclear is so powerful; my uncle explained that to me many, many years ago, the power and that was 35 years ago; he would explain the power of what’s going to happen and he was right, who would have thought? — but when you look at what’s going on with the four prisoners — now it used to be three, now it’s four — but when it was three and even now, I would have said it’s all in the messenger; fellas, and it is fellas because, you know, they don’t, they haven’t figured that the women are smarter right now than the men, so, you know, it’s gonna take them about another 150 years — but the Persians are great negotiators, the Iranians are great negotiators, so, and they, they just killed, they just killed us, this is horrible.”

Maybe he just needs to brush up on nuclear arms agreements. He probably has something more intelligent to say about alternative energy, right?

"We’ll have an economy based on wind. I never understood wind. You know, I know windmills very much. I’ve studied it better than anybody I know. It’s very expensive. They’re made in China and Germany mostly—very few made here, almost none. But they’re manufactured tremendous, if you’re into this, tremendous fumes, gases are spewing into the atmosphere."
You know we have a world, right? So the world is tiny compared to the universe. So tremendous, tremendous amount of fumes and everything. You talk about the carbon footprint—fumes are spewing into the air, right? Spewing. Whether it’s in China, Germany, it’s going into the air. It’s our air, their air, everything, right?
So they make these things and then they put them up. And if you own a house within vision of some of these monsters, your house is worth 50 percent of the price. They’re noisy. They kill the birds. You want to see a bird graveyard? You just go. Take a look. A bird graveyard. Go under a windmill someday. You’ll see more birds than you’ve ever seen ever in your life."

OK, let's skip alternative energy. How about natural disasters?
"This is a tough hurricane," he said in front of the White House, "one of the wettest we’ve ever seen from the standpoint of water."
"It’s tremendously big and tremendously wet,” he added, before emphatically enunciating, “Tremendous amounts of water.”

OK, also not his strength. How about cybersecurity?
"I have a son. He's 10 years old. He has computers. He is so good with these computers, it's unbelievable. The security aspect of cyber is very, very tough. And maybe it's hardly doable. But I will say, we are not doing the job we should be doing. But that's true throughout our whole governmental society. We have so many things that we have to do better, Lester, and certainly cyber is one of them."

Anyone who supports this clown needs to have their head examined. This is not a right vs. left, Dem vs GOP divide. This is intelligence, vs stupidity. You've chosen stupidity. I'll choose differently.
"I'll use the magic word - let's just shut the fuck up, please." EV, 04/13/08

I absolutely love the fact that y'all spend countless hours on here bashing someone that you'll never meet, never know, never walk a mile in their shoes. Y'all spend more time in the Donald Trump threads than all other threads COMBINED. Are y'all that pathetic? Geez...get a life.

Oh yea, he's still your president. :)

That's what you're down to, eh? Can't defend your posts because you're uninformed so you call people losers.  If you'd like to compare career successes,  I'm happy to engage in that.  Considering your clear lack of critical thinking,  I'm guessing you're not splitting atoms.

I will vote trump in 2020. It was a choice I thought long and hard about in 2016. He was my last choice of the Republican candidates.  But in the end, I thought he would take the country in a better direction than hillary.

I remember coming on here after he won the election in 2016 and I was insulted by many on here after I said I voted for Trump. Mainly I was called a racist.

Fast forward to now. Trump still can be a total jackass and I wonder what the hell he's thinking. Worse than I thought. Why he says the things he says.. some of it is nuts. And it really makes me wonder. Then sometimes he says things that make total sense and is exactly what I'm thinking. That's the part thats missing from the democrats. They never say anything that I agree with these days. It also doesnt help that the democrats have insulted everyone who voted for Trump - over and over again...Thats true for this forum too. All anyone has done on here is hurl insults at people who dont think like them. I stop by here every now and again, see if theres anyone around here that's thinking like I am.. post something like this, get insulted some more, come back on 8 to 12 months later and repeat. Why do I even bother?  Who knows. Pearl Jam is my favorite band. So maybe I prefer getting scolded by pearl jam fans as opposed to the general public? That must be it. What has he said and more importantly done in the last 3.5 years that made sense to you and allowed him to earn your vote again? Also what are the dems saying that is so bad that you can not get on board with? You would think Trumps coronavirus response and the way he treated the BLM protests alone would be enough to move the needle for most voters. That is unless you believe he is actually doing a great job with both of those then carry on I guess.

To touch on the fact that people called you specifically racist for voting for Trump is a pretty ignorant thing to do if you did not say or do anything to warrant it. Not all Trump supporters are racist obviously. That said take a look at some of the large groups that are voting for this guy. Also take a look at the Fox news comments. Just pick one that has anything to do with BLM. These people are voting for Trump. There is a reason they are voting for Trump. If you can not see why they are voting for him you really have not been paying attention the last 3.5 years. If I was voting for someone that was universally supported by the KKK, Proud Boys and other white supremacist organizations I would take a long look in the mirror and wonder why they were voting the same way as I am but I assume you have done that since it was a hard decision for you in 2016. Of course there are racists on the other side but the numbers are so lopsided and they are lopsided for a reason.

You also say it does not help that democrats hurl insults at people for voting for Trump. Have you ever listened to the right and how they treat/treated Hillary voters or Obama voters? There is some racist and misogynistic shit all over the internet if you open your eyes but hey thats the other side and it is not you saying it right? Two wrongs do not make a right but to call out one side because it is against your side is pretty ridiculous.

Again back to my first point. I would love to hear what you think he has said and done in the 3.5 years that warranted another vote from you that pushed the scales enough to outweigh all of the crazy, racist, misogynistic, conspiracy fed, and straight up lying.

And part of the reason you are voting for Trump is because of us? And we were we the ones called "snowflakes" before...how the tables have turned.

Workers removed thousands of social distancing stickers before Trump’s Tulsa rally, according to video and a person familiar with the set-up
By Joshua Partlow and Josh Dawsey
June 27 at 3:05 PM ET
In the hours before his rally in Tulsa, President Trump’s campaign directed the removal of thousands of “Do Not Sit Here, Please!” stickers from seats in the arena that were intended to establish social distance between rallygoers, according to video and photos obtained by The Washington Post and a person familiar with the event.

The removal contradicted instructions from the management of the BOK Center, the 19,000-seat arena in downtown Tulsa where Trump held his rally on June 20. At the time, coronavirus cases were rising sharply in Tulsa County, and Trump faced intense criticism for convening a large crowd for an indoor political rally, his first such event since the start of the pandemic.

As part of its safety plan, arena management had purchased 12,000 do-not-sit stickers for Trump’s rally, intended to keep people apart by leaving open seats between attendees. On the day of the rally, event staff had already affixed them on nearly every other seat in the arena when Trump’s campaign told event management to stop and then began removing the stickers, hours before the president’s arrival, according to a person familiar with the event who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss internal matters.

In a video clip obtained by The Washington Post, two men — one in a suit and one wearing a badge and a face mask — can be seen pulling stickers off seats in a section of the arena. It is unclear who those two men are. When Trump took the stage on Saturday evening, the crowd was clustered together and attendees were not leaving empty seats between themselves.

The actions by Trump’s campaign were first reported Friday by Billboard Magazine. As rally preparations were underway, Trump’s campaign staff intervened with the venue manager, ASM Global, and told them to stop labeling seats in this way, Doug Thornton, executive vice president of ASM Global, told the magazine.

“They also told us that they didn’t want any signs posted saying we should social distance in the venue,” Thornton said. “The campaign went through and removed the stickers.”

A spokesman for ASM Global declined to comment.

Trump campaign spokesman Tim Murtaugh did not directly respond to questions about the sticker removal.

“The rally was in full compliance with local requirements. In addition, every rally attendee received a temperature check prior to admission, was given a face mask, and provided ample access to hand sanitizer,” Murtaugh said in an emailed statement.

In a separate statement, the campaign said: “There were signs posted and we are not aware of any campaign staff asking that they be removed.”

Trump held his Tulsa rally despite opposition by Oklahoma health authorities and residents who feared that convening a large crowd indoors could accelerate the spread of the coronavirus. The number of coronavirus cases in Tulsa County was spiking in the days leading up to the rally and has continued to increase since.

The director of the Tulsa Health Department, Bruce Dart, had recommended that the event be postponed until it was safer. A number of city residents and business owners brought a lawsuit against the venue manager, ASM Global, seeking to require all attendees wear masks and adhere to social distancing guidelines from health authorities.

The Oklahoma Supreme Court rejected that suit.

On June 13, a week before the rally, Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt (R) wrote to the venue management saying he understood that Trump’s campaign “has presented plans to ASM Global in order to accommodate capacity crowds during a political rally.”

Stitt noted that Oklahoma was in “Phase 3” of its reopening plan and Trump’s rally “proceeding as planned is consistent with the guidance” of that plan. Stitt’s letter added that “we have also encouraged event licensees to refer to the general CDC guidelines for more information about COVID-19.”

Two days before the rally, the managers of the BOK Center had asked the Trump campaign to provide a detailed written plan outlining the “health and safety” measures it intended to use to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Before the rally, Murtaugh said in an emailed statement: “We take safety seriously, which is why we're doing temperature checks for everyone attending, and providing masks and hand sanitizer. This will be a Trump rally, which means a big, boisterous, excited crowd. We don’t recall the media shaming demonstrators about social distancing — in fact the media were cheering them on.”

As the crowd entered the day of the rally, the Trump campaign handed out masks and small bottles of “Make America Great Again 2020” branded hand sanitizer.

The BOK Center also put down floor decals in front of concession areas and put up plexiglass to protect vendors.

At 1:47 p.m. that day, Fox 23 News posted on its Facebook page a photo from inside the BOK Center showing two members of the event staff putting stickers on seats. “Stickers are going on every other seat in the BOK Center saying ‘Do Not Sit Here’ to try to spread the crowd out for President Trump’s rally tonight,” the post read.

After the majority of the stickers were in place, a member of Trump’s campaign radioed staff in the event war room where arena management was monitoring preparations and told them to stop, according to the person familiar with the event. Event staff was told to continue applying the stickers. Later, the campaign began pulling them off, the person said.

In video footage of Trump’s rally, there appeared to be no effort to keep an empty seat between attendees.

Attendance turned out to be less than Trump expected — he had said some 1 million people wanted tickets — and the arena was not full, particularly in the upper level.

Trump had wanted every seat packed, and he told advisers coming in on Air Force One and at the arena he was displeased that the crowd was not larger, said two Trump advisers, who like others spoke on the condition of anonymity to relay private conversations.

“He was quite angry,” said one person who interacted with him.

Trump had told Gov. Roy Cooper during a May 29 phone call that he would not hold a socially-distanced convention in Charlotte because he had never had an empty seat since he came down the escalator at the start of his presidential campaign in 2015.

Neither Trump nor the White House asked that the stickers be removed, said a senior White House official. While campaign staff and some attendees wore masks during the rally, many rallygoers did not.

At least six members of the Trump campaign advance staff have tested positive for coronavirus, including two Secret Service employees. Dozens of Secret Service officers and agents who attended the Tulsa rally were ordered to self-quarantine.

Since the rally, coronavirus cases in Tulsa County hit a new high of 259 new confirmed cases on June 23.

Colby Itkowitz contributed to this report.

Hi Ryme. We asked Mr Nestor to update these figures since they’re only good as of two years ago. You might recal that the economy is going through some stuff right now. Mr Nestor declined.

    Can you please update?

Also-cool video. Can you provide a reason why Trump’s support from African Americans is so low and declining?
