You're a classic Trump supporter. Inch deep.  I asked for you to support the lawsuit against the FEC and nothing.  You can't even do that.  You probably don't even understand what you're reading.

I know most here didn't like professor BS but I did.  Yes I disagreed with him on most issues but at least he was serious and capable of formulating his own arguments.  Trump people simply cannot do anything more that what we see here.  Memes and bullshit.
I'm with you. I read all of BS's posts and honestly, he was way above my head so I respected that, even though I couldn't wrap my head around his trumpologisms.

he's literally the only person I've ever seen be able to intelligently articulate what they liked about trump's politics.
True, but he was deep into the conspiracies, (especially about Obama), and kept saying it was all going to come out. When it didn't, he just disappeared.
I often felt like a lot of his claims was his way of making fun, mirroring equally unproven and absurd conspiracies of another poster.
Sure, fruit from the poisonous tree, Hillary and Obama and no ties to Russia, Russia, Russia and how the descent on the golden escalator was going to result in repub dominance of all three branches of government for generations to come. 3D chess, blah, blah, blah.

BS May have been articulate but his spin on the US political situation was, well, BS. Give them credit for trying.

As it stands today, knowing what we know now, is it more or less likely that Putin on the ritz has leverage over POOTWH in form of a humiliating PTAPE?

Forget the polls. There are repub secretaries of states that are purging voter rolls as we speak. In red as well as purple states. Imagine, if you will, that POOTWH wins the popular vote as a result but loses the electoral college? Think he quietly goes away like Hillary?
    he won't go anywhere quietly.

he got destroyed in 2020. said if he loses we will never hear from him again. now look at him. can't get away from hearing about him every single day.

    always question these fucking things.

who was polled. what was asked. HOW was it asked.
Were you asking these questions four years ago when Biden was leading just about all of them?

ummm I really dont recall basing my thoughts on the candidate and campaign based on polling after the rampant failures of same during 2016 . And if I was. welp this is where I am now

the time since 18, 20, 22 have proved polls mean shit, have meant shit.

I'm not fretting an election. Am in wait and see what happens and to be as informed from a variety of sources as I can be. About all of it. The cases, the election and whatever else.

will have to find a way to live with whatever comes anyway, so really what is the motherfucking point in the first place? Wasted energy, no?

Do what I can do and move through what comes the best I can. And hope for better than we have, are and seem to trending toward.

so do go on about polls if it floats you, but do us a favor and offer the breakdown of the aforementioned questions as well, ok?
Well let me rephrase then: if Biden was leading this time like he was last time, would you still say you need to ask those questions though?

Polling was not far off at all in 2020 and 2016.

Look, I think Biden will ultimately win again too. However a lot of my belief in that was that at least one of these damn trials would actually take place. Now it seems very likely they will not, except for the weakest one in NY.

The other problem is, despite things objectively improving everywhere you look, people are not realizing it and/or are not giving Biden credit for it. This speaks to an issue the dems have had forever, which is messaging.

Then you have these dopes on the far left who seem to be willing to throw away our country's future over what's happening in Gaza.

This is a real problem. I just can't understand the confidence some of you guys have right now.

yes, I want to know who is polled, what the fuck is asked , how the fuck they ask it. These things are easily manipulated based on incoming perception vs what and how a thing is asked.

Back to Obama, it was found when asked if you approve of Obama by a certain political demographic then Fuck no, hang the motherfucker. But ask individual neutral questions surrounding policy then these same motherfuckers were FOR those things the Obama team was advocating for.

Let me ask you, because its not confidence I have per se but a willingness to accept what is and will be and move through that the best I can, but how much time are you spending reading, digesting this shit that might be better spent on things you have even a modicum of control over?

side note, I define acceptance as the acknowledgement of reality as it is and not condoning or approving or whatever. Simply saying yes the thing is the thing.
I get your first point in bold...however when its EVERY SINGLE POLL, after he lead them all four years ago, you need to take that into consideration.

To your second point in bold: Not nearly as much as I would be if the results were better. It's too depressing. lol

    cheer the fuck up...

Trump reacts to Super Tuesday victories:

'Rarely has politics seen anything quite like this'

Trump has dominated Super Tuesday primary contests against rival Nikki Haley

    Published March 5, 2024 9:58pm EST

EXCLUSIVE: Former President Trump, reacting to Super Tuesday primary victories, told Fox News Digital that it is a "great evening," and that it is his "honor to represent not just the Republican Party but our country in leading it back to health and prosperity."

Trump, the GOP frontrunner, won Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Texas, Massachusetts, Colorado, Maine, Alabama, Arkansas, and Minnesota by 9:45 p.m. ET Tuesday night.

It is a great evening," Trump told Fox News Digital in an exclusive interview after races were called in his favor in 11 states, and while awaiting race calls and polls closing in others.

"Rarely has politics seen anything quite like this," he said.

Trump added: "It is my honor to represent not just the Republican Party but our country in leading it back to health and prosperity."

Trump's reaction came after 11 states were called. The Fox News Decision Desk is still awaiting race calls in Vermont, and poll closures in Alaska, Utah, and California.

TRUMP SAYS SUPREME COURT RULING IN COLORADO CASE IS 'UNIFYING AND INSPIRATIONAL'

Trump's major Super Tuesday primary victories come after he dominated the Iowa caucuses, left New Hampshire with a commanding victory, swept caucuses in Nevada and the U.S. Virgin Islands, won South Carolina with a "bigger win" than he anticipated, and won Michigan.

Trump won Missouri, Idaho, and Michigan over the weekend, and North Dakota Monday.

Ha, ha, ha! MSNBC actually pulled away from live coverage of President Trump's victory speech! Imagine not allowing your audience to hear a presidential candidate speak, so that they can make up their own minds. I believe that's called censorship.

Maybe you’ve forgotten but Fox has done this too. No rational person (aka people out of this lunacy right-wing bubble where logic and reason are purely inconveniences) really cares what the rambling, apathetic, selfish, delusional, brain-damaged moron has to say.

Edit: If this is censorship, then editors should instead be called censors. Their job is literally deciding what goes on air and for how long.

Not sure where the best place to post this is, but:

Back in 2017 a veteran group called With Honor started promoting the idea of getting more veteran representation into Congress, under the idea that it would increase teamwork and reduce bipartisanship in government. Priorities - With Honor

"With Honor Action believes veterans should abide by The With Honor Pledge to put principles before politics, and lead with civility, integrity, and courage, including the courage to take specific actions like meeting with someone from another party at least once a month and sponsoring legislation with a member of another party at least once a year."  Their website touts some achievements, but it also used to list their candidates/Congress members.  Is anyone familiar with this org, or how successful it has been in the past seven years?

end of 2021.... have to check the congressional record for success but here is the years agenda..

    2023....

“We had a busy year in 2023 and we don’t plan on slowing down. We managed to get 63 of our priorities in last year’s defense bill, and we hope to use that momentum to keep affecting real, bipartisan change in Congress,” said Rye Barcott, Co-Founder and CEO of With Honor Action. “Our organization looks forward to a year of improving national security, expanding national service, helping service members and their families, and countering the Chinese Communist Party.”

Ha, ha, ha! MSNBC actually pulled away from live coverage of President Trump's victory speech! Imagine not allowing your audience to hear a presidential candidate speak, so that they can make up their own minds. I believe that's called censorship.
It was to fact check him for lying every time he opened his mouth...including about all of these issues. Did you happen to catch this on Fox last night, pal? Are you upset America is doing well? Does that bother you? If so, why do you hate America? Or do you believe Fox is fake news now?

I appreciate the feedback. I had heard long ago that a big difference in Congress in the mid-20th century was that many people in Congress had served together (I think the veteran population in Congress was north of 70%, whereas it's in the teens now) and regardless of political views, understood they were on the same team, and didn't attack each other like enemies.  I'd like to believe the endeavors of With Honor will bring both sides closer.  Without MAGA, of course.  They don't count.

Trump invites Nikki Haley supporters to join MAGA movement, celebrates Super Tuesday victories

Nikki Haley suspended her campaign Wednesday morning

    Published March 6, 2024 10:25am EST

    Former President Donald Trump
reacted to former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley’s suspension of her campaign by inviting her supporters "to join the greatest movement in the history of our nation," while stressing that President Biden "is the enemy."

Haley suspended her campaign Wednesday morning after Trump was victorious in nearly all Super Tuesday primary contests.

"Nikki Haley got TROUNCED last night, in record-setting fashion, despite the fact that Democrats, for reasons unknown, are allowed to vote in Vermont, and various other Republican Primaries," Trump posted on his Truth Social. "Much of her money came from Radical Left Democrats, as did many of her voters, almost 50% according to the polls."

Trump, prior to Haley dropping out, said "at this point, I hope she stays in the ‘race’ and fights it out until the end!"

"I’d like to thank my family, friends, and the Great Republican Party for helping me to produce, by far, the most successful Super Tuesday in HISTORY, and would further like to invite all of the Haley supporters to join the greatest movement in the history of our Nation," he said.

"BIDEN IS THE ENEMY, HE IS DESTROYING OUR COUNTRY,"  he continued. "MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!"

Haley, upon suspending her campaign, did not endorse Trump. Instead, she said it is "now up to Donald Trump to earn the votes of those in our party and beyond it who did not support him. And I hope he does that."

"At its best, politics is about bringing people into your cause, not turning them away," Haley said. "And our conservative cause badly needs more people. This is now his time for choosing."
