    So I checked out Newsmax last night as I was flipping through my cable guide and they had a Hitler marathon listed. What shaped Hitler from his early life to his demise; Hitler’s greatest battles; Hitler and his plan, or some such titles. All were an hour and there were three or four in a row. It seemed overly glorious so I click on the one for the time period it is, which was the episode on what shaped Hitler. Except it wasn’t. It was about Joe Sleepy Woke Joe Basement Biden and Hunter and their corrupt Burisma dealings. Except all they reported were known facts,yes they met. Yes Hunter was on the board, yes Biden withheld aid until they got rid of the corrupt prosecutor. They never mentioned the other facts, only insinuated that there’s something corrupt and Biden is dangerous. How does this shit end up on tv?

    It must have been my punishment for backing out of my driveway into a Team Trump Treason Tax Cheat MAGA truck parade, complete with huge flags and QAnon tshirt wearing toothless folks. They drove up to the little commercial strip up the street, stopped, blocking traffic, while folks got out of their cars and trucks and walked around as someone on a bull horn intoned “God bless Donald J Trump,” and “Donald J Trump is your president for the next 4 years.” Reminded me of Jim Jones.

    Punishment for my Biden Harris sign with the Trump for Prison sticker on it. Or maybe it was the PJ stickman stickers on it?

    That said, no, I don't think the election is over. But between this, more court failures, Emily Murphy starting to do her job, and a few GOP senators (privately) badmouthing Trump, I feel a bit better. So why am I not 99.99%?  Because the GQP was so, so close to one-party control. The Supreme Court exists in his image (Of course, the lower courts are probably going to keep SCOTUS out of it). And there's just so much will in this country to fight for this man, be it for the party or the cult. I kinda know how it looks to "normal" people. I guess I feel roughly how I'd feel if my team, the Vikings, had a 28-3 lead in the Super Bowl...just waitin' for the other shoe to drop. And stranger things have happened.

So why am I not 99.99%?  Because the GQP was so, so close to one-party control. The Supreme Court exists in his image (Of course, the lower courts are probably going to keep SCOTUS out of it). And there's just so much will in this country to fight for this man, be it for the party or the cult. I kinda know how it looks to "normal" people. I guess I feel roughly how I'd feel if my team, the Vikings, had a 28-3 lead in the Super Bowl...just waitin' for the other shoe to drop. And stranger things have happened.

    Even though very few people are as worried about it as I am, Trump’s behavior has really put a damper on things. For example we just elected our first woman, not to mention woman of color, to the office of vice president. Biden is putting his team together and all the news it’s about a whiny petulant baby, his whiny petulant family, and a bunch of enablers.

    I must say, as horrible as Trump's actions have been toward our democracy, watching him die a slow and painful death these last three weeks have been quite entertaining.
