I don’t think they will be successful overturning the election, but I DO think it’s about way more than just massaging Trump’s ego, they’re going to see how far they can take it, while his idiot base believes the endless stream of lies & his administration ratfucks as much as possible for Biden to have to clean up.

    those people are MAD pliable...
& some of them are out stock piling weapons under the impression that the election was stolen from their cheeto jesus.

America is now the shit hole country.
What do you mean now?  70 years ago they were burning people and hanging them from trees for being the wrong color. Before that Japanese internment camps. Slavery.  Native genocide....the roots make the fruits! Flint didn’t have clean water long before trumpers. People going bankrupt for healthcare. Environmental destruction. People were hiring based on prejudices etc.  it’s just a much worse shit hole now

the sole positive of fuckstick, wiped the cobwebs from peoples eyes. pulled the curtain back to reveal the dark festering underbelly of this country. FAR too many people think the slick and shiny America brochure is true. its not.  never has been in practice.

I think Fox has the viewers outreach and influence to be considered mainstream.  It’s not a fringe outlet.  It is a very dangerous mainstream right wing propaganda machine.

yet it offers conflicting views....Geraldo Rivera was on there yesterday saying there was no evidence of fraud and that they were pushing a false narrative...then Tucker Carlson last night was saying there is no proof being offered.

That's almost an insult to actual grifters. Grifting at least tends to use some clever deception.  She's just saying "come on, you know you want to give to us regardless of what actually happened. Because MAGA."

These are not serious lawyers. If Trump had legitimate people representing him, it might be of concern. But the fact that no reputable lawyer wants to be anywhere near this clown show....it tells you all you need to know.

It really is amazing that there are probably 50 million people in this country that want Trump to be awarded a second term regardless of what happened and not one of those people seems to be a sane, competent attorney.  I just hope there are not enough on key state election boards (or whoever handles certification).

If threatening and bribing electors in key states doesn't work, I am sure we'll find out.  I could totally see him trying to do so via tweet and the rest of the country just shrugging its collective shoulders. Of course, the move will probably be to try to unleash his cult on the streets so that it's forced to happen. Not sure how it could play out after that.

Exactly- his whole trip right now is to try and fuck things up for Biden as much as possible.  And  a lot of weird ego bullshit gaining him fawning fans on one side and negative attention from pretty much everyone else.

good or bad , he's center of attention. he doesnt care which. his name is on your mind....

    Exactly!  It's his m.o.

When your team wins 6 in 20 years, we can have that conversation.

That 4th one against Seattle is far & away my favorite of the 6.

I don't think it was planned by Trump or understood by his followers and the GQP in 2015 but Trump's ability to be the victim and to make others feel like victims might be the most important element to the unprecedented level of devotion we're seeing.

I disagree, I think Trump has been playing the victim since day one & plenty of his followers have followed suit.

A former friend who turned into a huge trumper told me at the 2016 election verbatim: "No one in America has it harder than the middle class white male right now."

Perceived victimhood is ingrained in this movement.

I actually think that victimhood is sort of a crutch held by people of all kinds. So in a sense, this isn't surprising.  Your former friend's statement, while particularly hyperbolic, is kind of an unpolished or over-the-top version of crap I've been hearing for decades. It's kind of an extension of the whole "I worked my ASS off with no help from anyone" line you get from people that almost always had some help. "I do so much and get so little thanks to (insert scapegoat)." And of course these are the same people that accuse others of playing the victim. It's really an ego boost to think you've overcome so much and if the world was fair, you'd be on top of the world.

So in a sense you're right.  But I don't think bringing Trump in because he was a whiner was really what happened.  I think they kind of struck gold by accident when Trump really got going with all the bitching, whining, and moaning. Maybe I was just naive but I kind of thought that acting like a big baby all the time was going to hurt him...obviously not, his devotees view it as strength. Or they at least view it as relatable, since they too are victims of (scapegoats).

Back to the matter at hand: the GOP and American conservatives are the real victims in all of this.

Victims of liberal policies, victims of liberal elitism, victims to the whims of the majority of American voters. Poor, poor, poor conservatives, such victims, let’s all say a prayer for them.

He literally promised to build a wall between us & Mexico.

White victimhood was a staple of his campaign.

Thereby letting all candidates in Georgia know that they'll have to beat their opponent fair and square while that official is in charge. Take that, wannabe cheaters.
