I think this will be a kick ass live song which is part of how I listen in my head to judge the harder edged songs.  Yeah some thoughts that we're going through my head on first listen match to what others have made some comments on.  But in the end after a few listens it stays in my head and I want to see it in concert.  Nuff said!

I don't find this song to be nearly as good as Dance.  Not as much fun, but also not as heavy...not as unique and interesting, but also not as classic PJ sounding.  Ultimately, it feels to me like a Backspacer B side, somewhere I between Got Some and The Fixer.
It's way better than the fixer!  In my opinion the fixer is one of their worst songs.

I’d say pretty much the exact opposite. Sounds way more like classic punk PJ. Sounds better than most all of backspacer.

Backspacer was good and most importantly had a plan—friendly and lean.   LB felt pieced together just by what everyone brought into the room.

So far these two tunes have a IDGAF kind of attitude.  Like PJ is totally doing what they want in these songs and having fun (the La La La, the entire craziness of DOTC).  Love it

Agree, the vibe is great on both songs. I just can’t tell how much of that is my 7 year itch for new music. Can’t wait for Gigat(r)on!

I agree with all of this. Especially the last part. I’m excited for Gigaton.  The IDGAF PJ has always been my favorite and it’s definitely coming through in these first two singles.

Love the stick figure video, but Ed doesn't look that cool anymore unless he gets an un-haircut 😀

I'm legit glad people are loving on this song, but to me it's average-ish. The guitar  tone (no not the solo) is kinda bland and it's wayyyy to wordy. But  the Rawk songs are never my favorites. Don't hate it,don't love it. DoTC is sublime though, 10/10.

I have a new theory that Josh Klinghoffer will join the band on stage for SBWM each night of the tour and turn the solo into a guitar duel with Mike.

Some of the lyrics seem to have a Chris Cornell death response reaction to me.

That would be pretty sweet. Maybe they can make it the new set 2 closer. Seems more likely this will slot in the first 5 songs each night, which makes a guest unlikely.
    It's a hopeless situation...

I’ve changed my mind on this song. I originally said I liked it but now I love this tune! Such a fun song, can’t keep from moving when it’s on. Can’t wait to hear this live.

Whenever I see this thread I sing the title to the melody of the song -  *Superblood Wolfmoon is dropping real soon*

This song is an earworm and gets better with each listen. Fun video. Can't wait to hear it live!

The song isn’t bad. Not pushing the creative limits as much as Dance. But clearly wayyyyy better than the last four or so “rockers” I remember being released. (Can’t Deny Me, ew, Mind Your Manners, ew, The Fixer, ew, and Ole, ew).

I typically feel like the mid-tempo tracks are the best ones post-Yield.

    This hard/fast one isn’t bad.

That video is kinda corny though. Like the video for dance is clearly pretty cool. Lots of time, thought and energy. This one? Not my cup of tea. Cute for a moment maybe but...

Yeah, this blows away listening on my phone.

Looking forward to the release of the album, and hearing it with the rest.
