I think the system is working. Remain patient. You will get in to most shows. I don’t understand the bots. Why bother? They can’t make a profit, right? perhaps we are the bots. Lol good luck everyone
They way tickets are dropping and to see GA and lower level.....seems very fishy. Anyone else think tickets were held back?

Here is a feasible idea. This would absolutely eliminate bots and scalpers. If you won or bought tickets to any show you cannot transfer and there is no bot heavy F2F marketplace. Instead create a button indicating your desire to resell for face value. By clicking this button there is a deadline say 2 weeks before the show to choose to sell. After that time then there is no availability to do anything else with the tickets. Then have 10c members resubmit interest in various shows. Then do a random redraw for the tickets the original purchasers wish to sell. Guaranteed those go to 10c members at face value and allows people to sell them when they do not want to keep them. I know timing may be hard with 2 weeks out and things may happen within those two weeks causing someone to need to sell but that amount of people will be less than the amount of frustrated people wasting time on F2F.
This is a decent idea, except that there's no reason for TM to do this (and certainly not to limit it to 10C members). If you're talking about JUST 10C tickets, and this is done through 10C, then... Maybe? I'm not sure 10C has the infrastructure to do this.
I think the F2F idea is fine. I think the real problem is that many of us (myself included) were thinking of this too much like when tickets go on sale, or even like StubHub or eBay, but we were pretty far off about that. As the F2F drew nearer, people on here were asking, "Is anyone going to be selling anything?" as they realized that the purpose of the lottery and the "Verified Fan" pre-sale and the non-transferability was to "get tickets into the hands of actual fans". If that process worked as well as some of us think, who would be selling off tickets? A handful of people - a vastly smaller number than those looking. If even 1% of people at a given show decided to sell, that's less than 100 pairs of tickets available. They won't all be listed at the same time, either, so it's a crap shoot that a) tickets will be available at any given time, and b) that you're not one of thousands trying to get that one pair of tickets.
One thing that I think might have helped is that instead of waiting until February 18th to allow sellers to list their tickets, let sellers list their tickets a week early, so that when the F2F goes live, there's more than just a couple of sets available. On the flip side, though, this assumes that everyone who bought tickets knows right now that they're not going (or can't use the tickets), which might not be the case.
On the bright side, if you are using F2F to try to find tickets to a hometown show, it might be more likely that you can wait until much closer to the show date than those that have to travel. For example, if they were playing Boston on this tour, I know that SP1984 and I would be trying F2F right up until the show, because we can drive into Boston fairly easily. For Baltimore, though, we're going to have to make a decision soon, as it involves flights and a hotel room.
I really think the biggest problem with this sale is TicketMaster's janky-ass website. I do not understand why they keep showing tickets that someone else has in their cart. I really do not get how I can have tickets in my cart, but as I try to pay, it tells me someone already bought them. At one point, SP1984 and I had the same tickets in our carts! They've been selling tickets online for 20+ years, and they haven't figured out how to avoid this?? And then there's the "Oops, something went wrong (but we're not going to tell you what, or how you can fix it, or what you should do next)" error. That was fun. Unfortunately, they're not going anywhere anytime soon, so this is just screaming into the void.
"I'm a lucky man, to count on both hands the [shows I've done]. Some folks just have one, others they got none..."

Most on here is looking at f2f from the viewpoint of the buyer, and I do get the frustration. Obviously there are improvements that could be made. But on the other hand, if you are a seller this option is great. Keep that in mind because many people selling these tickets are club members too.

That’s very true. I just wish there was an option to coordinate with a specific buyer.
With so many of the tickets for these shows going to 10C it would've been nice if there was a way to limit the fan to fan in some way to 10C too. I watched last night but couldn't get anything. Perhaps opening for sellers first and building an inventory would make it less frustrating too.
Looking for solo St Lou if anyone is selling one.

It’s not the systems fault. There are literally hundreds of people sitting at their computers refreshing the screen all racing to buy a pair of tickets that pop up once every 10-20 minutes.
Getting kicked out in the checkout is frustrating but not sure what a better system could be. The demand just greatly outweighs the supply.

The abuse of a system like that would be insane. I’m all about ticket trades as I go solo to a lot of shows, but a system where you can directly transfer tickets to another fan club member via mobile is not the way to go.

The only thing I would suggest is if it gets in your cart, it’s yours unless you release them.

I think the countdown clock would help a lot. Race to get them into your cart but then have a reasonable expectation of completing the purchase after that.
