Staying at the Drury by the Arch.  Have stayed there before....nice hotel and free breakfast if I remember correctly.  A bit of a hike to get to the venue but assume others will be doing the same. Taking my son to his first show, in GA, no less.

Just booked the Drury by the Arch. Expedia says it's about a 15 min walk to the Arena. Not bad.

    where is everybody staying??
Reserved an AirBnB last night for $19 per night in Dogtown, ha. I'm not expecting much, but I just need a place to crash with access to transportation. The bigger question is, where are the pre/post parties?

    Ok
    Folks
I’m posted this for all out of towners, particularly if you have a car.

I think some of the best places to see are 15 mins from the concert venue.    Not sure one everyone’s budget and comfort level.  But It will be Super HOT in September, always is!!!

    1.  STL Zoo is really neat and free.  But you might need to make reservations.  https://www.stlzoo.org/

    2. The ARCH is cool to visit, but fairly expensive.   https://www.gatewayarch.com/

    3. The Hill area is cool and free to walk around, but honestly not much open on Sunday's https://thehillstlouis.com/

    4. Strictly food -- but Pappy's is the best BBQ https://www.pappyssmokehouse.com/

    5. The Grove area is also a newer area to hang out in  https://www.thegrovestl.com/

Ok my thoughts on the hotels:

Pear Tree is definitely closer to the concert venue.  It's pretty much a strait walk down Market street to the venue.  Only real issue is that, there really isn't much down that way in the bars/food/attractions.  (Side note, there will be a year from now, as STL FC MLS soccer team stadium is basically being built right next to that Pear Tree.)  There is 1 bar/restaurant called Syberg's https://sybergs.com/locations/downtown-stl/  they have pretty much all kinds of food. Toasted Ravs as well.  I really like there Syberg’s wings.

The Hampton Inn is closer to where the Cardinals play.  That area will be fairly crowded all during the afternoon, as the Cardinals are playing the Reds at 6:15 that Sunday night.    Ballpark village is a cool place to hang really a wide variety of food/bars etc.  https://stlballparkvillage.com/
