I enjoy hearing songs live for the first time, as opposed to hearing them first on record.  It usually attaches more meaning to a song since I am experiencing it both visually and audibly.

    Yes...automatic purchase!

I’ve pre ordered the vinyl (only band I buy vinyl for)
I’ll buy the CD too, only a few bands I still buy a CD for (Tool being one of them).

Automatic purchase, likely both CD and Vinyl, but shipping costs, delays and exchange rate aren't worth it for the Ten Club version unless there is a clear difference between it and retail.  Maybe not even then.

I don't own a turntable and am down to two ways to play a CD: a six-disc changer in my car (2008) and an old lap top that I don't use anymore. I might grab the CD eventually but I have to admit I will likely just stream it.

When does the colored vinyl with icesheet colored swirl vinyl come out? I may buy on cd locally and wait for that :)

Automatic - Got the bundles.  Interested in the 7” and curious why they went single sided with it.  I remember the glory years where the B side was also looked forward to.  Can’t Deny Me would have been an easy add if other content wasn’t available, but I would have preferred a non-album track for the flip side.  Oh well...single sided it is.  Excited for new stuff.

Definitely automatic. Purchased the vinyl bundle already.

    automatic LP+CD+7" bundle  ;)
  • I don't do vinyl and my car doesn't even have a CD player.  I'll just download it on spotify.  I'll eventually grab a CD for my wife in her vehicle. If I'm going to be dragging her to shows in the fall she'll at least need to be familiar with the material.

Acoustic Sounds is saying they are pressing this at QRP.

excellent news. Would also explain why it’s on the pricey side. I hope they press all their records going forward there.

    (the opposite of) THIS.
I smile, but who am I kidding...
  • Definitely, vinyl bundle purchased and I will pick up cd at the local record store. That way I support local business and will get the change to listen to the tunes before the BMore show that I hope to be attending.

Yep, got the vinyl bundle on pre-order before I received the email from the 10C announcing the release of the album.
I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.

    Yes
  • I purchased a vinyl and then a CD/7' bundle. A little disappointed you can't order them together but I'm sure there's a good reason for it. The standalone CD is no longer available in the GOODS section so I had to buy the bundle with the 7". I'm having them both shipped to my parents place in the US as shipping equaled the cost of the items to ship to Canada so I'm hoping on release day I get a download link for 10c and then I'll just have to wait till the next time my parents go down to their place and bring the mail back for me to enjoy the physical copies. Less than ideal, but every album I can think of from the last 14+ years that I've bought in the 10C store has come with some sort of little extra bonus so it's a small risk I'm willing to take to wait a little longer for the physical copies.
@Dead Man Walking who's this stranger?
  • So how not limited is the 7"?

They really need to stop calling things "limited".  Wasn't the new BP called limited?  That's still for sale...

Automatic. Including the 7" is a nice touch and makes it worth while. My local record store has just listed it at £37. Hope there are randon coloured variants as getting a red LB was a nice surprise.

I'm guessing its limited in the sense that its only getting pressed this one time and never again.

I just buy a lot of records and have seen this move hundreds of times.
  • €40 for an album is pretty ridiculous. Not quite Tool territory but no need for that. I'll buy it but I'll get it in my local record store rather than pay €8.25 for postage through ten club. Granted I won't get the 7" but I'm sure I'll survive.
