I usually get the vinyl and cd from 10C.   Then I tend to buy a  CD for a friend or something at a local record store.

But to answer the question...yes.  It's an automatic purchase.   They dont have to "prove" it to me before I buy it.  Their music still resonates with me.

  • Yes, I ordered the Vinyl/CD bundle.  One of these years I'm going to frame all the PJ CD covers I have.  I got rid of everything else years ago except the PJ ones just for that purpose.

    Cleveland 03', Cincinnati 03' (Flooded), Cincinnati 06', Cincinnati 14', Chicago N2 23', Indy 23' (Cancelled), Vegas N2 24', Seattle N1 24', Indy 24', Chicago N2 24'

    Boston N1 24'
  • Pre-ordered the vinyl already from 10c
    Automatic

They are 10/10 so far, hard to imagine the album would be bad.

Automatic buy but, like many people, not enough incentive for the extra cost and delay of purchasing through 10 club.  Will buy cd from local record store.  If I really like it, will pick up the vinyl as well.

Any PJ album is through the 10C for me. Expensive but if the hardcover edition isn't a mainstream edition I'd be pissed. Love that I have Avocado and Backspacer as hardcovers (LB too but that was mainstream).

  • I got the bundle - I'll go grab the CD @ Easy Street when we're up there a few days later.  Had no idea they served food in there until I finally checked the place out...a must visit if you head to Wes C Adle...

Same. I always support the band directly when purchasing music. Even though Ten Club can't ship anything in a timely fashion, ever.  (Fingers crossed they'll get it right this time, but certainly not holding my breath).
  • I did midnight sales for Vs., Vitalogy, No Code, Yield, Binaural, and Riot Act. God, I miss those! Avocado was my first 10C purchase and each one since. I bought the Gigaton vinyl bundle as fast as I could  =) I'll go my local record store to get the CD.
  • Yes. I purchased both the vinyl and CD bundles. Like others have said, I wish there was one bundle to contain all of the items.
    Waiting in anticipation!

It wasn't an automatic purchase for me. I still had to add it to my basket and click submit.
Is there a way to change my settings so all new releases are automatic?

Yes, Gigaton is the first time I hit up the PJ Store. Will have to run it on the old white MacBook and try to get it on the phone. I bought the hardcopy for the Artwork.

  • Of course.  I debated about the CD bundle, but just got the CD.  Pearl Jam music is the only music I will buy physical copies of now.  I hope my laptop and iTunes can still rip the MP3's to my iPod Classic!  Then into the box it goes, along with all my other PJ CDs.  CDs are my vinyl.
19 Pearl Jam shows and still searching for Deep!

yeah, i kinda miss the days of standing outside a record store at 11pm waiting for the album to drop.  got to hang out with other fans, got to see other people who were passionate about other musical interests, too.  I especially remember Yield and Binaural....those were great midnight sales.

i have every album on vinyl so i'll probably buy it, spin it once and stream it after that.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

I’ll give it a spin or two via Amazon’s streaming service. Won’t be in a major rush to grab a physical copy. With small kids running around the house, spinning records is becoming a luxury activity, so I don’t need it right away.  When I do decide to grab a vinyl copy, I’ll buy it from my preferred local record shop.

Yeah, will buy the vinyl local and pick up the CD when prices drop. £35+shipping for the pre-order vinyl is expensive, it will be interesting to see what local stores sell it for.

Defintely.  I preordered the vinyl bundle from 10c for the 7".   I'll buy the CD from amazon or my local record store to save on shipping.

I usually just buy vinyl now, but for PJ I buy both.

Me as well , how excited you were to get a PJ or really any band CD , I feel like Newbury Comics in the mid to late nineties was always doing midnight releases.

Popping the CD in for the car ride home , combing thru the booklet when I got home. Reading lyrics , all the  thanks the bands give.

  • Ordered the CD because I don't collect vinyl anymore, and vinyl doesn't play in my car.

How else am I supposed to criticize it if I don't listen to it?
