Exploring:
- If you are there for the weekend and have not been before, take time to walk around the National Park surrounding the Gateway Arch and Mississippi River and take some cool photos!  And although it's a touristy thing to do, the arch is well worth a rickety tram ride to the top for the fabulous view from America's tallest monument!
- The City Museum which is downtown is quirky and wonderful - I highly recommend a visit there if you have time - It's seriously like a playground for adults, and like no other museum you've ever been to!  Delmar Boulevard (University City Loop) is also highly recommended - Probably the most famous street in St. Louis.

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza in 2014. 20 minute walk to the venue but right on the river near the Arch.

Booked a room at the Missouri athletic club less than half a mile away. Booked before the announcement and saved $ thanks to Dimi! But it is still at a good rate. Great reviews.

Any advice on a good deal for a hotel near the St Louis venue?
@LukinFan Keep in touch - would be awesome to meet you in person after all these years! I'll be driving in ahead of show time on Saturday to attend whatever get togethers are going on. Is WishList still a thing anymore? Do they do pre-party stuff still?

Booked the Pear Tree $178 for one night, king size bed for me and my lady. Even if you can't find anything real close that's a safe area to walk around in. Pear tree has a cancellation policy too just in case I don't get tickets, which will make me cry

    FYI
I"m from St. Louis and that weekend/Thursday/Saturday/Sunday is opening weekend for St. Louis Cardinal's baseball season.
Should be a ton of fun downtown that entire weekend.

Feel free to email me if you have any Stl questions.
There are all kinds of great restaurants 10-15 mins away from downtown.  The Hill, CWE, Loop etc....

    P.S.
My wife and I will be attending the show

Definitely! I'm still trying to figure out when I'm going to get there. Either early Saturday morning or Friday night.

Thanks everyone for the hotel suggestions!

Yes it is. I stayed there in October. From there it's probably a 5-10 minute uber/cab ride to the arena.

Has anyone stayed at the Peach Tree Inn at 2211 Market Street?   Seems to be an easy walk to the Enterprise Center and a pretty decent rate.

I think that is the one we stayed at the last time PJ played in St. Louis.  Was that 2014 or 2016?   Anyway, it used to be the Hampton Inn and it is ok.  Close to the venue.  We always walk from the hotel to the venue or Union Station.  I just booked it for this show too due to its convenient location.
