I just posted this in the Tour Rumor mega thread, but figured I would here too, just in case.

SOLD prices on StubHub for the MSG show so far.

    Absolute madness.

  • The way I understand it the odds shown are basically the WORST case scenario for all people that put in regardless of choice.  If you put in for MSG as your 10th choice, your odds are the odds that are shown.  Everyone from 1-9 choice has better odds.

If you can drop three grand on a pair of fucking tickets, surely you can wait another week to see if you have any luck in the public sale. Idiots.

Even if I had tickets and had to transfer them, I couldn’t live with myself ripping off fellow fans. It’s just wrong

    Don't be crazy....

It's way more than $3k.  That is before fees.

    This person paid $3,800.

And those posts are speculative inventory from those sellers.  Those people that “bought” can get their order cancelled when the seller doesn’t get the tix.

I have to say this late in the 10c presale it seems the 10c did an awesome job at securing a lot of tickets for fan club members!  Odds are great for at least getting reserved for most members. Thank you Pearl Jam and 10c!!!

  • I chose all three of the seating options for my two requested shows. Can someone tell me if that's wise? I thought someone posted a couple of days ago that you should choose all three for best odds? Can someone let me know? Thank you:)!
  • Just to clarify there are no "all three options". It's either GA OR Reserved OR "Best Available" (First GA then Reserved).

What three options? If you want GA, then put in for GA, if you want seats then put in for reserved.  If you don't care and just want inside the building, then do both (best available).

So how are they getting around this policy?

    Fan-To-Fan Face Value Ticket Exchange
For fans who are unable to use their tickets, Pearl Jam and Ticketmaster will offer North America’s first Fan-to-Fan Face Value Ticket Exchange, which will allow fans to resell their tickets for the price they paid (including all fees). The Fan-to-Fan Face Value Ticket Exchange will launch on February 18, 2020. There will be no additional fees charged to Exchange users for buying or selling tickets on the Exchange.

That's a shame.  So the reduced odds for getting an MSG ticket are partly due to the ticket brokers(scalpers) competing with us(The real fans)!

Possibly but they’re probably only going to be transferable via TM. I don’t think any ticket sold on StubHub will actually be a successful sale.

Snap, I saw that a while ago and was gonna put the link here but got busy.

Besides the prices, there is some very useful info on the StubHub page. There is a distinct trend to these listings that should make 10c members happy

This will be the first Pearl Jam show for me so I want to go no matter what, so yeah I'm going with "Best Available". If you select "GA" and then don't get it then you're basically out of luck, so I'd rather deal with Seats than not going at all.

For that to work Ticketmaster would need to handle the transaction to know what is paid for the ticket.  If not, then the broker can sell it for whatever they can get.  Stubhub already listing many tickets and it says they will be ready by Mar 29.
