I went with best available. even though my wife is as tall as a keebler elf, she said "whatever you want", but i'm guessing, since this is my 3rd or 4th member number, that probably means we'll be reserved. which is fine with me. i only care about being in the building. everything else is gravy.
Ha!! But getting GA has nothing to do with your seniority and/or how many member numbers you've had.  It will only play a roll with seat location (distance from stage) for reserved!
I'll never understand how these lotteries work.
new album "Cigarettes" out Spring 2025!

You know, I like to believe I am of at least average intelligence (some may disagree) and my brain still does not process the best way to approach this lottery thing.  Priority this, priority that, first choice, second choice, percentages.....geez I feel dumb :)

And one other thing. I know there will be other legs to the tour and I am forever grateful this band is still touring and making music!!

But how on earth are they only playing one show at the probably the highest demand place on earth (MSG) !!??

Does it say GA in the confirmation or did you only put GA in for the lottery?

  • Hello everyone, long time PJ fan but new here. Waiting to hear back for both Oakland confirmations! Quick and probably dumb question but am I reading the percentage correctly? When I requested the Oakland shows one was 98% for GA and the next was 99% for seats the next day. That's a percentage to get the request correct? Not that it's 98 and 99 percent filled already?

That was the percentage likelihood you would get GA at the time that you entered. The odds were updated twice a day over the course of the three days. It only matters where the odds ended up at the close of the lottery period Wednesday night at midnight PT after all the entries had been compiled. The screenshots and stats of the final odds are floating around in different threads but I believe Oakland ended at 30% and 37% odds for GA and reserved odds were 99% for both.

Yeah. I get it. We do have other venues in the area (brooklyn, long island). We'll see what fall has in store.

Get this, stubhub already has tickets starting at $488 for a single at MSG. Sickening

I think the 2nd leg will equal a busy fall for the band. I heard something about an election coming up? Lol I think they will definitely have a busy touring schedule rocking musical truths amongst the campaigns of misinformation

The price with fees in 2016 came to about 220 CDN a pair so about 110CDN a ticket.  In 2020 all in with fees they are approx 300CDN a pair or 150CDN a ticket.  I got tickets to all the shows I wanted.  So naturally I would say I like the system employed here better.  It’s still not perfect and probably never will be but I think the 10club ticketing has improved vastly this go around.

This is how I see it. They collect  the GA and BA names, regardless of priority. they draw names, if your name is drawn you got that pick. this is the only way someone has the same show as a 3rd choice gets it over someone with a 1st choice. Doesn't happen much with GA but does with reserved. Maybe, maybe not

Kinda defeats the purpose of prioritizing shows, doesnt it?

In a way it does, it's not iron clad theory, but does explain how one can get 3rd priority over reserved 1st priority. Also, lends well to the idea that one who, puts in for the show, regardless of GA or RES is still someone who wants that show and would be part of a lottery drawing.

For Europe it was clearly stated they’d draw 1st priority first and any remaining tickets would then be drawn among the 2nd priority entries
