  • Rage with a Chicago date rules them out for lolla. Wrigley concerts are filling up fast......my guess is PJ lolla for Chicago this year.
That's what I'm thinking too. I have a feeling they're holding off on announcing their second leg of the tour is because some of those shows may be festival dates. We'll know more in March when Lolla announces their lineup.

T-Mobile Park in Seattle is open from 9/2 to 9/10. Def Leppard/Motley Crue show on 9/2. So that's an 8 day window for a show. Nowhere else in Seattle for them to play unless they go to CenturyLink. Only problem with the Clink is the sound. The roof that keeps in crown noise also creates an echo. Everyone I talked to who was at the two Home shows agreed with me that the sound was really good in T-Mobile Park. Fingers crossed.

They may just skip Chicago this year...
No they wont.  It's obviously either gonna be Lolla or the United Center.  WGN when talking about the spring tour announcement mentioned Chicago would be getting 1 show later in the year.

I’m guessing it will be Lolla and expect rumors to heat up in March. Seems like Lolla usually announces 3rd or 4th week of March.

With PJ doing Lolla Stockholm & Lolla Paris, it wouldn't be a stretch. Few openings at Wrigley left, Soldier Field would be in preseason football and United Center is... a place.

Lolla would give them a livestream platform to get a little political before elections, as well as cause us all to murder each other for Lolla Aftershow tickets at the Metro.

Folks.  The fall is happening.  They are not going to dampen the current focus on the album the shows in the spring by jumping into another ticket panic.

I'd say we are looking at late spring/early summer
His eminence has yet to show.

I bet they wait until after the spring tour is finished.  Yeah. most of those shows are sold out, but no need to announce more shows in the hopes that people will still buy for this coming tour.
Once this tour is finished, I would expect Dimi to stop by and start dropping some more hints.

I agree.  I could see announcing after the album is released.  Give it a few weeks to breathe and get through the tour and then announce the next leg and I hope upon hope a Nov/Dec tour in Australia (I'm sure it will be in Jan/Mar though).

Speaking of, is there a consensus on the best audio source for the 2007 lollapalooza show?
