For the sake of my wallet, I'd like them to hold off a bit before another tour announcement.

Maybe they'll hold off a little too to see what goes on with this Coronavirus scare crap. Wife and I are planning a France/Italy trip in May that's already in serious jeopardy currently, I can't only imagine how many bands are wondering what their tours will do over the next several months. They ruined the Arnold Classic this weekend in Ohio, yet all the Cav/Blue Jackets/March Madness games are all good to go as scheduled, so far, and there hasn't been a confirmed case there. Who knows.
Plus if they ended up having to postpone the spring tour, it would be tough if they booked in a fall tour already.   Doesn't give you room to put it off for 6 months.

Yeah, hopefully. Odd that he would be silent if new tour info was only 3 weeks away. Orson calling dimi, come in dimi.

There’s a reason Dimi hasn’t posted in awhile and it has nothing to do with vacation.  Band wants more control on how the new album/tour is launched and promoted.

Do you have anything more to share?  Source?  Or are we just doing the cryptic thing here?
Same source that gave me the 9/4 date in Pitt. More info is rolling out to venues.  I’ll post more if I get it
Thanks. So to be clear, your source says that PJ will announce a fall US tour, and the details of that tour will be released on 3/26.  Right?

I certainly appreciate the information, I’m just trying to clarify since your initial post left a bit open to interpretation. Thanks!

Avett Brothers are playing Wolf Trap in Vienna,Va on Sept 18, so they would easily be able to play Sea Hear Now that weekend

I just need Columbus or Cleveland to NOT be 9/5 or 9/6. If it is, I’m dead. Anyone got insight on either of those, please let me know. 🙏

I think someone said united center in Chicago too was 9/11 and 9/12. Something like that but I definitely think a Chicago date will be there for sure

This could be.  I was told tour announced 3/26, but not necessarily on sale then.  Will follow up with more info if I hear anything

Ohana announcing their lineup on Monday seems like another sign that PJ is playing SeaHearNow.  Feels like a coordinated announce.

Really hope this comes to fruition as I can walk to the festival. Have loved it the last two years and it will be PJ show 53 for me.

Cool, cool. I’m in Heritage point now. Not a big fan of festivals either. Not keen on it probably being a football Sunday too but at least their set is probably at night. Since it’s so close, I guess I’ll go. I’ll be shocked if I care to see more than one other band in lineup. Hope they play a full set and not a festival set.

I’m excited for Asbury Park.  Getting Pearl Jam to headline, if it comes to fruition, is a pretty big deal for a city that has had many false starts over the years in its attempt to rebound from where it used to be.  There are so many great things happening in the city and this is one more sign that they’ve finally broken through.

For all those not into festivals it really is nice getting to be on th beach and listening to music. This festival tends not to cater to a younger crowd so the vibe is really great and you get a chance to see new bands maybe you never heard of. Win win .

I’d definitely recommend seeing the Avett Brothers. Saw them at a festival some years back not knowing anything about them. They were awesome.
