Does anyone else think spring 2020 seems crazy for a US tour? Shouldn’t it be spring 2021 after the euro tour?
What would make Spring 2020 crazy? Just looking for some context around the ask.
Seems kind of sudden, not a lot of time to plan. Book rooms, buy plane tickets, schedule days off ETC.....
Bands/Tours don't care about the fans that travel...they basically book for the fans in the area....if it's inconvenient for some to make travel plans, that doesn't bother the tour manager/booking people/band/etc....
I was told that directly by Bruce Springsteen's tour manager......George Travis

they've had what, 16 months off?  why would it be crazy to actually go to work after all this time?
I'll ride the wave where it takes me......

10 weeks.  If it takes you longer than 10 weeks to plan travel, that’s on you.

It happened fast after Europe was announced and the main N.A. rumor at that time was fall tour and election related.

what makes it make sense is they decided a month ago they were happy with what they recorded so they decided to hit the road to promote the album.

This fan base has demonstrated it will go wherever, whenever on a moment’s notice. They could announce dates for last week of Jan-early feb, would end up being quickest sellouts of any arena in the US

They offer club members up to a month of additional time to prepare from what has been proven to be historically reliable rumors.

How many chances would you have to see them in a 1,500 person room? I would love to see them at the Apollo. Who cares what the setlist looks like. Play the top 20 tracks on Spotify for all I care.
Got to see them at Benaroya and the Vic...I don’t deserve to see them at a small performance again (and won’t be trying) but hope those that get in absolutely go nuts live for each and every song.

If they booked a small show...and they had a handful of tickets for the Ten Club...I would LOVE to see them put that in the general lottery mix. Now that would be spicy. No guts, no glory.

Woah OKC confirmed!? Hell yeah!! Just spent New Year’s there and had a great time. I’m guessing it would come after St. Louis, then they go to Denver logistically...but I could be wrong. Oklahoma has gotten a lot of love from the band in recent years, but I’m not complaining! So I wonder if this was the final missing piece or if Las Vegas is still in the conversation?

Someone supposedly connected to Denver’s Pepsi Center management said 4/6 for Denver, so it seems OKC would be after, but time will tell.

This makes sense to me. Could be why the delay in announcing. Tour has seemed to be locked and loaded since mid December. I Hope you are right.
