Anyone recommend some good areas/places to stay in toronto? Not planning on spending much time in the room so just a clean place in a decent area would be great!

soooo stoked, if the dates hold up, my 20th show will be on the 15th anniversary of my first!

Bring up the map and see what works for you in terms of distance to the venue and pricing. The downtown core is easy and cheap to navigate - you can get anywhere for cheap with an Uber or taxi or subway.
Strathcona is the best overall deal for closeness and how nice it is imo.

I like how that dude on Facebook keeps talking about the NIT like it's the Super Bowl with a big media day with every major sports media outlet present for being the reason why the MSG show can't happen on 3/30. Pretty sure NIT media day is held in a hotel and the only media present are probably ESPN and the local media from the universities' markets.

If we don't hear anything today by 3pm PST, it's highly unlikely that the rumoured tour dates for March/April are happening. Just my opinion. Timing is too tight.
    Facebook is leaking...
    What have you seen?
I think they meant (and I may be wrong) that the skepticism from FB is coming through here.  I rarely look at FB, but from what I've heard, they all seem to think that this potential tour is just a hoax.
Yes thank you - that’s what I meant. Sorry all.

Check the TTC website for early subway closures however.  They shut down early some nights for maintenance and they don’t necessarily take into account concerts when planning this, not to mention this concert hasn’t been announced.

We leave for FL on March 13 returning March 21. Will be flying from FLL to BUF on the evening of March 17 and renting a car to get home. After the show hang out for a bit before driving back to BUF and dropping the car off in time to make the 6am flight on the 19th to FLL. Back at the pool at 10am to swim with the kids.

Dimi suggested okc into that estimated date here on Saturday and the other nearest date was denver  per Dimi and someone with a connection to the Denver venue.

This ones from 2018. Looks like all the major media is packing MSG for the NIT media day

Exactly.  He’ll be able to eat a multicourse meal of his own words once the tour is announced.

I brought it up yesterday and the only issue would be if they do practice or shoot arounds the day before. But as is clear with these twitter posts on media availability, it's not the tourney that is focused on that time of year and outside of the schools that are there no one really cares. So they could practice somewhere else. The set up itself will be a normal basketball setup with NIT logos on the floor and media table. So setup is definitely not the issue.

cheers to that! if you want the burnt ends you gotta get there early. i haven't been there in about a year. a pj show is good an excuse as any i would say, haha.

  • this may have been covered early on. i am not going back 200 pages to look for it.

why would they not play more of the battleground states? they are a political band and this election will be super important. is everyone thinking a fall tour would be vote for change style thing?

That's like asking "How does Sherlock Holmes solve the case?"

Lol, I just wouldn’t be booking flights based on non confirmed dates and venues. Seems foolish.

No one asking you to book flights...I'm being sarcastic. The list was compiled with weeks of guessing with clues given by @dimitrispearljam

I agree, nobody told me to book any flights, and I wouldn’t if all I knew is just venues/places.

You could fly into Cincinnati. Rent a van there. Drive to Nashville. Sleep in the van. Go see Pearl Jam. Drive to St. Louis with random strangers. Sleep on the floor in the hotel they booked. Go see Pearl Jam. Drive to nearest airport and fly home.
    Things were different then

Somebody should put a 1-100 note by each date noting how much it's a total guess, vs being a mortal lock.
