might do Nashville if the Amtrak fares are low.  Was there a few months ago.  Not doing that drive again. Lol
Where were you coming from, and what was the drive like?

So, are we pretty certain Quebec City is March 22?

This is a great idea I hadn’t thought of. I think I can take Amtrak from Chicago to Nashville and then back up to St Louis for that show. Might be a great option for travel. The drive sucks and flights can get pricey unless you fly off peak times.

    Why? They're pretty close

My guess quebec and ottawa will be easiest to get. Either 10c or Ticketmaster. Just hate the weather factor of these 2 cities.
You underestimate how crazy we are about Pearl Jam I think. Quebec City was the first sell out not named Philly, Toronto, or New York City in 2016 and now there is less competition then there was for that tour. This has me thinking this is going to be a tough ticket.
You guys crack me up. QC was an EASY GA in the lottery in 16. But comparing lottery odds then to now is apples to oranges!
All of you who missed the Canadian run then will want to go now and the odds will be DIFFERENT!!
So keep on stressing about ticket odds...won't matter at this point.

Amtrak is a lot more expensive than flights right now, at least where I’m from. I can round trip two tickets for a flight for the price of one ticket one way on the train. May be different from Chicago though

Wanna know how Ed feels about Sacramento? Listen to the rant between Jeremy and Supersonic at OKC 2013...

Ed speaking about Sonics / OKC Thunder / Howard Shultz..   "Fuck Sacramento, thats what I meant to say... But if you think about it and have ever been to Sacramento, they're already kinda fucked"
😜ty myyoung321 what happened in sacramento, ca . To make ed never want to come back

Damn. Good info. I’ve never taken Amtrak in my life so wasn’t sure. I can live with an 8 hour drive but it does kind of suck. Flights from here are under an hour and can range from $80 round trip (shit times) to $350+ round trip. Obviously $350+ for a 50 minute flight is ridiculous but it’s all about demand.

Sorry for not being caught up but is Nyc the only area east coast show? No Boston or Hartford? Thank you @dimitrispearljam
NYC and Baltimore, one night each
Wow! Thank you, going to be a tough ticket
I think if you’re willing to let go of going to NY you could put Baltimore as your first and get it. I’ve been to 50+ shows and have never been to NY or Philly. I’d rather avoid the hassle and just get my tickets.

This is very tempting. Bmore is my travel and NYC is my local so I may want bmore locked and can always maneuver NYC last minute (tough but got day of tix in 16).

People openly trading Quebec in 2016 and lottery odds have nothing to do with one another though. Apples and oranges right?

The ticket odds are based on all requests for a show. They don’t break down the odds by choices. So if a bunch of people do
    NY
    BALT
    But you do
    BALT
    Ottawa maybe you get both......
Just gotta decide whats important to you. Going to NY GA or bust or just going to a show

True its more or less a measure of how popular that show is. With very few east coast shows on this tour those odds are going to be super low and very close to accurate to your real chances of getting tickets.

For NYC there won't be any point of putting it as 2nd choice or lower

To alleviate the anxiety around ticket odds, 10C could put in place two show max per member for the lottery.

Maybe Minnesota could be in the mix. :-)

Minneapolis and St. Paul are one metro area and they were the first to sell out back in 2014. We're more humble about our fandom, but there's definitely a robust PJ block in the upper Midwest.

They're in the ticket sellin' business. I think it's cool they go through the trouble to have people weight it by choice. They could just go straight lottery for each show.

Is it only a demand issue or also a supply issue ? Maybe in Europe Pearl jam can sell a higher percentage of 10c tickets because promoters are OK with that.
    2012 : Amsterdam 2
    2014 : Amsterdam 1&2, Milan, Berlin, Werchter
    2018 : Amsterdam 1&2, Pinkpop, London 1, Berlin, Werchter, London 2
    2020 : ?

How the hell is there only one NYC date? Does their management hate NYC? Seriously. Endless tours in Europe and shows in Boston and Chicago. And now, after ignoring NYC for 4 years, one freaking show?
I swear, their bookers are slightly sadistic. Like they enjoy watching their East Coast fans be miserable
Because NY shows are boring, just like PA.

Kansas City seems like the perfect middle ground for a stop!! Really anything in the Midwest...I’m ready and willing to partake in my own version of Planes, Trains and Automobiles, the 2020 Pearl Jam spring tour sequel.

There will absolutely be at least 2 NY shows and 2 Boston shows.
