She has no path to victory, but she probably wants to give it a go in her home state of Minnesota. She's polling ahead of Sanders (barely), but I'm not sure that'll lead to a win for her.
She had a tough go at it last night in Minnesota though. Some protesters ruined her rally. They're alleging that someone that Amy helped convict was innocent....
@brianlux Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) canceled a campaign rally Sunday evening in her home state of Minnesota after protesters demanded she drop out of the presidential race over her past handling of a case that put a Black teenager behind bars for life.

Thank you, McG. Will this be the final nail for her or will the attention help?
“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man [or woman] who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”
Inside the final month of Buttigieg's historic campaign
An excerpt, rest of the article is linked:
“You know, he very nearly pulled it off,” said David Axelrod, who served as the senior adviser to former President Barack Obama and was at times an unofficial Buttigieg booster.
“If those two things would have been different, we would be having a different conversation now,” he said.
Questions about Buttigieg's appeal with voters of color loomed over strong finishes in overwhelmingly white Iowa and New Hampshire, however. And as soon as the race shifted into more diverse terrain, Buttigieg's star began to fade.
In Nevada, he finished in third place behind Sanders and former Vice President Joe Biden, even as he bested two senators and a billionaire. And by the time the race moved to South Carolina a week later, Buttigieg's weakness with African American voters was painfully exposed.
He failed to hit double digits in the first-in-the-South contest on Saturday, scoring a distant fourth place in a state in which more than half of Democratic primary voters were not white. Less than two hours after holding what would be his final rally in Raleigh, North Carolina, Buttigieg was hunkered on the phone in a hotel near Americus, Georgia, working out the details of ending his campaign, people familiar with the conversation said.
The Democrats are driven by their base.
The base needs to know you in order to trust you. This is why we lean toward older nominees. Even obama was received with some skepticism at first.
Who ever is the nominee needs to have someone the base is enthusiastic about as VP.
Because out of all the candidates, she is by far and away the most successful legislator Sponsored or co-sponsored over 100 bills that have been passed
Can anyone tell me why Bernie S is still in it? Specifically, how much successful legislation has he passed?
No clue. But what the hell, let her enjoy her final 48 hours. She made it further than I thought she would. Though I guess making it to Super Tuesday isn't all that far. But still, A for effort I guess.
She has to be getting pressure to drop out. The whole consolidate moderates thing. Its gotta hurt all moderates watching her continue to split votes going into tomorrow. Take a deal like Pete (probably) did and go out on top. So what's the upside for her?

It's funny because my own political beliefs support Amy going as far as she could. She got on the ballots, she garnered some support, so she should take it as far as she can. That's how I believe politics should go. Even if this awful two-party system.
But that's just me. Amy is, like many in the Democratic Party, of the belief that 1) Donald Trump is the second-coming of Hilter, and 2) Bernie Sanders cannot beat him in a general election. Well if that's the case, like you said, be like Pete. Get out of the way and let the voters who might have supported you choose between Biden and Bloomberg (or even Sanders, it's not fair to suggest that anyone that supports a moderate candidate now won't switch to Sanders after their candidate is gone). It would help avoid the situation that the Democrats dread where Bernie arrives at the convention with the plurality of delegates, but not the majority. With less Amys and Petes to take away votes, maybe Biden or Bloomberg actually beat Sanders. Or, maybe they don't. Who knows. But if you're a devoted democrat, or if you're a Trump-hater, or if you're both, Amy continuing to be in the race doesn't help your cause in the least.

I'm actually a little torn on this. I was a big supporter of clearing the field, but part of me thinks the multiple candidates is hurting Sanders more than Biden. I think Bloomberg is banking on taking this to the convention regardless.
Well she did the right thing for the "team" if you're a democrat. Also, she'd probably be a good running-mate. Certainly for Biden (who's rally she's flying to to endorse him), but even Bernie (though I think Liz is working for that spot). Amy as Bernie's running mate could at least show that he's willing to negotiate with fellow Dems on all of his positions. I actually felt Hillary should have chose Bernie for the same reasons. "Sure we disagree, but we're on the same team. We're not slitting each other's throats like Trump did to Rubio/Cruz/Jeb/etc."

Seems to be a guy with character, and who doesn't throw staplers at people. What term did Pete steal from Obama for a speech.. "beacon of light" ? Maybe that is what he is.
