I’m not saying it’s my preference, or it’s the way it should be, or that it’s a winning ticket, or whatever, but does anybody have thoughts on Biden/Warren 2020? I would just hate to have a repeat of 2016, where a group of voters stayed home or didn’t vote because their preferred candidate didn’t get the nomination. I feel like there has to be some sort of coming together of the Democratic Party. I personally don’t think it would happen because they’re probably to ideologically different.

The only reason I put Biden in the #1 spot because he’s already been vp.

I would love that ticket...all kinds of experience there and progressive ideas too.

    I would love a Warren/Biden ticket, not Biden/Warren.

I don't think there's a chance Biden runs as VP. There's no point.  If you want a moderate,  then Pete or Gabbard makes more sense.  Joe is president or retired.

Great. I really misspoke. I wouldn't "love" a Warren/Biden ticket. I just wouldn't mind if Biden was VP, and I wouldn't mind anyone else Warren chose either, as long as she's POTUS. I would really prefer a Warren/Buttigieg ticket.... I wouldn't mind a Buttigieg/Warren ticket either (maybe weirdly, as their platforms are quite different), but that's not happening obviously. I really don't care for the idea of Biden being POTUS though. I mean, obviously it's a huge improvement from now and I wouldn't be horrified or anything close by it - he's a decent man and is technically qualified - but I don't see why anyone thinks he's actually a great option for President. I'm confused by those supporting him TBH. To me it more seems like people are just supporting him because they are scared, not because they think he would be great.

I like his policies.  It's pretty simple for me.  I like Pete too, and Amy.  They are just long shots.

As much as I want a woman president before i die, I'm so afraid that Elizabeth will be painted with a Socialist label and they'll liken it to make her out as a Communist because so many people don't know the difference and many won't care. It'll be a smear-fest instead of talking about policies...I miss those days. Of course, she'll have my vote. What would be the defense against that kind of branding?

I guess I don't know what "radical" means anymore, Kat.  Warren keeps being labeled a "radical", often by the same people who support Trump.  How's that for irony!
    Takes one to know one?

Me?  Nahhhhh- I gave up radical for rad.

I can dig that ticket.  Sounds like a winner to me.

Can we just get a royal rumble or something to get it down to 4-5 candidates?

Edit: There is no rhyme or reason to which youtube videos will post in these threads and which ones won't. And don't get me started on the quoting feature. This board gets worse by the day.

It's the SNL sketch of the Democratic candidates from last night by the way. With Woody Harrelson as Biden, Larry David as Bernie, and Mya Rudolph as Kamala. Pretty funny.
