Vivian Jenna Wilson, the estranged daughter of Elon Musk, revealed that her father pays extra for sex-selective IVF in order to produce male offspring, which is why he's so angry that she's trans.

Note on Musk’s latest vaporware: He claims he plans to be on the “next manned” Starship launch. But Starship has never launched with human crew. For good reason: Starship has never had a human-survivable launch in eight tries. The eighth launch of Saturn V landed on the moon and safely returned its crew to earth, while Starship hasn’t even reached low-earth orbit, something real actual rocket scientists have been doing routinely since the 1950s.
    Please let this be true
People can say what they want about Musk, but Saturn V cost about $26 billion in the '70s, and the estimated cost of Starship when all is said and done, is expected to be about $10 billion. Saturn V was also a one-time use where Starship is intended to be fully reusable.

Also, eight "tries" is a very misleading way to frame this. These are test units, not production units. They're in testing, not production.

yeah, things are more expensive when you are effectively inventing the technology while being methodical about your approach. not to mention , things become cheaper as the tech evolves, no?

would be very interested to know just how much of the basic blueprint was used for SpaceX that came from the various NASA  rocket programs.

Between 1971 and 1977, there were 38 rear-end collisions of Ford Pintos that resulted in fire, leading to 27 deaths and 24 non-fatal burn injuries.

The American people made Pintos a national joke.

Between 2012 and 2022,  untouched Teslas have had 232 confirmed cases of fires and 83 fatalities worldwide.

People in America believe Elon Musk is going to save our nation.

    Education is important.

We all owe the Pinto an apology for this affront to the brand. But the reality is whether deserved or not the Pinto absolutely is considered a “joke” among cars. If that’s what makes this “misleading”, well the cultural story is written in stone on the Pinto. If the problem is that it isn’t fair to compare a brand to a model, well that doesn’t bother me too much.

Did Mark Rober just uncover a scandal about Tesla AP💥

He posted a video yesterday comparing a car with Lidar to Tesla AP in detecting obstacles under various conditions. Many viewers accused him of turning off AP before Tesla crashed through a styrofoam wall.

Today, he released the raw footage proving AP was on, but it shut itself off a split second before impact. I don’t know about you, it suggests Tesla’s system can disable itself right before an accident and avoid taking the blame!

The departing head of the Commerce Department's broadband program, Evan Feinman, is warning of a coming "betrayal":

The Trump admin could "unduly enrich Elon Musk's satellite internet company with money for rural broadband" — undermining Americans' access to benefit Musk's Starlink. https://www.politico.com/news/2025/03/16/official-exits-commerce-department-musk-warning-00232278

This is interesting and doesn't bode well for Tesla.

James Murdoch (the son of Rupert) is on the Tesla board of directors.  On 3/10/2025 Murdoch executed ALL of his stock options (converting stocks granted to actual stocks owned) and began to sell it.

    Here's the TSLA insider activity.

Something tells me the upcoming earnings report is going to be ... terrible.

So to avoid insider trading, there are SEC rules for buying/selling stocks and options. stuff like this is set into motion well in advance. My guess is, this was done last year and it’s happening now.

What about Pol Pot? From Letter From An American:

Republicans convinced Americans to vote to undermine a government that enables all of us to look out for each other by pushing a narrative that says such a government is dangerous because it gives power to undesirables and lets crime run rampant in the U.S. On Friday, Musk reposted an outrageous tweet saying that dictators “Stalin, Mao, and Hitler didn’t murder millions of people. Their public sector employees did.”

all of this is beyond me but I like how it sounds....

Elon Musk has pledged 238M shares -- That's 58% of his shares! And he likely has a max debt of $47B

We don't need to know his exact margin call ($100-114, be real) to see a TSLA spiral. Because his empire is a house of cards.

FIRST. His Tesla stock is currently worth $93.7B. If his stock were to go down to $114 he'd be worth $47B... and owe $47B

You see the problem? There's more

It’s not Trump or Biden. They took an experimental Boeing craft out there which failed in important enough ways they had to return it to earth unmanned. Scheduling made returning sooner impossible.
