    Musk’s SpaceX, which operates the Starlink satellite system, won a $1.8 billion contract with U.S. military and intelligence agencies in 2021. It is the major rocket launcher for NASA and the Pentagon, and Musk has a security clearance; he says it is a top-secret clearance.

    Today, NASA administrator Bill Nelson called for an investigation into the story. “If the story is true that there have been multiple conversations between Elon Musk and the president of Russia,” Nelson told Burgess Everett of Semafor, “then I think that would be concerning, particularly for NASA, for the Department of Defense, for some of the intelligence agencies.”

    Musk appears to be making a bid for control of the Republican Party for a number of possible reasons, including so he can continue to score federal contracts and because the high tariffs Trump has promised to place on Chinese imports would guarantee that Musk would have leverage in the electrical vehicle market. 
    this WOULD have been a bombshell prior to 2016. Now? No one will care.

    Since Elongitaint violated the terms of his student visa, can he be deported and stripped of his citizenship? If he were brown or black skinned and a dem supporter, particularly for Kamala, you know there’d be faux rage about him.

    Elon's really good at what he does with the site formerly known as Twitter.

    A month ago my feed was a barrage of Trump love, trying to get people on board. Then a couple of weeks ago it was full of Jill Stein voters trying to get people to at least not vote for Harris. Now it's confident Harris voters, likely trying to get people to stay home in the "knowledge" that she's got this.

    I don't really know how many people this works on but it's a hell of a tactic.

    It’s called “suppressing” the vote by communicating that “your” side is fine, so if you haven’t voted yet, you don’t need to. Been around for ages.

    And it works on “enough.” Falls under “Election Fuckery.”

    i muted and blocked him when he bought twitter. there has never been a person who thought more highly of his own tweets and his own opinions than elon. so much so that he moved his tweets to the front of the algorithm to make sure everyone saw them.

    Mine weren't from him. I blocked him a long time ago. Just a bunch of Trumpies for a while. Then a bunch of Jill Stein voters. And now a bunch of Harris voters expressing 100% confidence. I don't even know how many are actual people. Either way, the algos have a purpose...
