    I'd have no issue getting rid of Facebook. Twitter is actually, or WAS actually, before Elon ruined it, a fantastic tool for agencies to quickly disseminate information in real time during tragedies.

    agreed...it now reminds me of FB in that you can't control your feed anymore. Mine is full of garbage that I don't subscribe to or follow. They throttle certain journalists and media outlets. It's really sad. Threads seems to be the way to go but it still doesn't have the traffic.

    I remember being able to keep any of my FB comments out of my feed several years ago. That was nice because I could comment on political stuff and not worry that it was popping up for all my "friends" to see. Now everything is broadcast to everyone. A relatively innocent comment or question results in magat "friends" posting bullshit on my comments.
