    ICE uses anti-psychotic drugs...really?
Maybe, but so do psychiatric wards.  I'm sure this is an overly broad statement that lacks context.  Maybe the person was a danger to themselves and others.

    not really
That's the ORR, not ICE.  Are they the same to your knowledge?

If drugs are being administered preemptively,  then that's an outrage and needs to be litigated for evidence.  But is that ICE?

No idea, I assumed they were one in the same. If they aren't then AOC is wrong.

I'm on the same page as her on reigning in ICE, but as usual I think she goes overboard.  I'm more interested if she's threatening to primary Democrats.  That's tea party tactics and how the GOP destroyed itself.

I’m beginning to think she’s a GOP agent. Can’t wait for the investigation in 15 years. ;)

I think if they're making concessions like that to him, then he owns them. But then again they would bury that story for any Republican running for office.

Nice misleading reference regarding Moore in that Tweet and his affiliations with Greenpeace.

Meanwhile, Travis Nichols, a spokesman for Greenpeace USA, strongly pushed back against Moore’s comments on Monday, saying he doesn’t represent Greenpeace. He disputed that Moore is a co-founder, though Greenpeace
admits Moore "played a significant role" in its early years.

“His statements about Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the Green New Deal have nothing to do with Greenpeace’s positions and should not be reported as such,” Nichols said in a statement. “Mr. Moore frequently cites a long-ago affiliation with Greenpeace to gain legitimacy in the media, and media outlets often either state or imply that Mr. Moore still represents Greenpeace. He does not.”

    It's a hopeless situation...

I mean seriously, this guy is an idiot.

"After the World Health Organization released a study concluding that glyphosate, the active ingredient in Monsanto's Roundup herbicide, is “probably carcinogenic,” Pat Moore told a French filmmaker that glyphosate is safe to drink[50][51]

Upon being offered some glyphosate to try, Moore refused to take up his own suggestion, ending the interview and telling the filmmaker, “I'm not an idiot.” Video below. [52]"

    It's a hopeless situation...

I was more interested in the contents of his tweet.  He is 100% correct, fossil fuels are going nowhere.  That's the problem with idiots like her, they think they have brilliant ideas until confronted with basic facts, nothing more basic than home heating and natural gas is the cheapest most effective way to heat your home.  And unlike the recently defeated Canada's green monster energy premier from Ontario suggested hydro will be heating homes in the future, and it won't.  Hydro is to costly to heat.

So it looks like AOC and get chief of staff could be in hot water with the Federal Election Commission in regards to illegal transferring of campaign contributions “off the books” from PACs.  If true, it could mean heavy fines and possibly even jail time.  What was that about “do as I say, not as I do”?!?!
    https://www.scribd.com/document/401081150/AOC-FEC-Complaint-as-Filed
I’ll admit, I have only seen this reported on conservative leaning news outlets, but at the same time, I can see why liberal outlets may try to distance themselves from this as it could be very damaging to her career and others associated with her.  Will be something to keep an eye on.  Maybe she really is the “Trump of the left” as some have portrayed her.

This is a complaint lodged by this conservative group,  so I would not read too much yet.  I could file an FEC complaint against her,  as could you.  Until it's adjudicated , it's no different than me suing you.  What's at risk is probably attorney fees.  I don't even know if this group's attorneys can be sanctioned for a frivolous suit.

i personally think this is a great way to reach their constituents, and the world, without having to release press releases that no one is going to see. how long does it take to tweet? 30 seconds? to communicate with the people that want to hear what they are doing/thinking. i think it's a fabulous tool when used for good.

Social media is a big part of why they got elected, and skillful use of it will keep them in the public eye. Hopefully with equally visible accomplishments and hard work.
