Well, obviously this person is got a lot of issues, but the overt Trump stuff seems to be a little over done. I don't think liberals looking to hang a right winger are going to get their wishes. What we have is an unstable human being that needs to be locked away, but that doesn't totally absolve Trump from the hate he keeps spewing. That needs to stop no matter what affiliation this person has, but we all know he will only be more empowered if this person is a liberal. Things could get very dangerous if that happens. I fear for the safety of this country if this gives him more fuel to feed his ego and hate message to the extremists among his supporters.

Preservation of evidence and reducing the possibility that the identity of the arrestee leaks. People in that area know who drives that van, wear he lives, etc. Not that CNN didn't live broadcast the van before it was wrapped. A few thousand people will know who the suspect is before they announce it at 2:30. Trial will likely have to be moved.
I think I agree. I think you pin it on Trump's extremist rhetoric, but lightly and not too often. It does speak for itself and trying to speak too loudly for it will only get in the way.
