    I think it’s just not the clearest recording of a show that we’ve all heard... this new cut is better than the box set one, but we all have better sounding shows on vinyl.  Glad they improved it though.
    I'm like an opening band for your mom.

    I wouldn't say the original is garbage, but it was cut at NRP and pressed at United. So, I am just eager to A/B the differences.
    Mine is, warped and pressed off-center too. On my Pro-ject Debut Carbon Esprit SB with an Ortofon 2M Red cart, sourced direct through my "vintage" Kenwood VR-407 and speakers/sub, the highs are harsh and shrill, with little to no low end audibly present. This new cut has to be an improvement.

    Hey D, the dhl method they used switches to Canada Post correct? Dont have to worry about dhl fees.

    Correct, though with custom fees it depends what the store writes on their customs form. Only a few times have I been hit with fees, usually from Mondo if it's shipped by DHL.

    Ok got mine today and it’s black.  Did a side by side comparison with the version from the box set, and this new release is better.  The packaging seems identical at first glance except for the dates being different of course, one says 2011, the other says 2011, 2018.

    on my system though this new release is less “muddy” and clearer.  It sounds like it’s the same balance of audience and instruments but it’s simply clearer and better sounding.  

    Look forward to other folks’ impressions.

    Both versions have  k SST etch as well as an MPO

    There's a few left at the Newbury Comics near Wrenthem Outlets by Franklin (exit 18) as of Saturday.  Was driving through onto NH on Saturday and they had them in stock.  With tax, $29 and change, FYI.

    Full disclosure, I don't have the one from the box set so not doing an A/B comparison here, but I will say this Orpheum album sounds very, very good to me.  I listened to it on my Senn HD650's which are very sensitive and pick up any imperfections on a record.  The pressing is flat, quiet, dynamic, and excellent separation of instruments.  There was no inner groove distortion either, as the record stayed true all the way through.  One thing I did notice which seemed odd, is that in Even Flow, it sounded like Mike was on teh right and Stone on the left.  I don't recall picking that up anywhere else, but seemed unusual.   
    I'm never disappointed with a Newbury pressing and that holds true with this one.

    He didn't want to get into what store it happened in. 
    It was done where they keep the exclusive releases in the vinyl section, basically out in the open.

    I don't know why, but I still haven't opened my Constitution Hall.  The flac is so good, I am guessing it's equal to the best ones.
