    Ok got mine today and it’s black.  Did a side by side comparison with the version from the box set, and this new release is better.  The packaging seems identical at first glance except for the dates being different of course, one says 2011, the other says 2011, 2018.

    on my system though this new release is less “muddy” and clearer.  It sounds like it’s the same balance of audience and instruments but it’s simply clearer and better sounding.  

    Look forward to other folks’ impressions.

    Just noticed the red record has a smudge on it that is on both sides in the same spot. Wonder if they are all like that?

    Wow, just got a color version as well. Also got a black. My lps are not smudged.

    They're all behind the counter now at my local store, apparently they were all instructed to do so because of an “incident” that happened.

    People do wild shit. Look at the baseball card section in Target sometime. Dudes tear into display boxes to feel for heavier/thicker packs. Some have been photographed with a digital scale weighing them. Aftermath can be crazy...ripped boxes, stacks of packs everywhere. There are real jerks out there.

    I wouldn't say the original is garbage, but it was cut at NRP and pressed at United. So, I am just eager to A/B the differences.
