Yep, I saw someone post a picture yesterday on instagram.  Three fists in frame with 111, 112, & 113 written in huge black marker on the back of their hands.  Not cool; unfollowed them.

I have to say.....sometimes I have found that early entry sucks as people just become so damn territorial in the pit.  The only time I've ever seen actual fights at shows (in GA/standing) have been at PJ shows.

It was a much better system with 10c golden circle and the wristbands allowed you entry.

I've seen those "wall of death" on YouTube. Not fights, but wow.

What do you mean by golden circle?

The ONLY...ONLY time I can understand the number system is in the very rare occurrence when the line has to be moved by band/venue management due to security or weather concerns.

With that said, that's why we make friends with those around us. Get to know your neighbors and no one will try to butt in if the line has to be moved.

In GA there was a big semi circle section around the stage that was sectioned off by a barrier with 2 or 3 points of entry that had stewards checking for wristbands, only 10c wristband members could come and go. It was SO much better

Thank you, Santos!  We had a lively conversation with someone in a thread (since locked) about this just the other day.  Dude seemed more than a bit pissed that we weren't pro-sharpie marker queue.  Thank you for clarifying 10c's position on fan run lines.

If you want GA, earn your place in line. Make friends with your neighbors. Have a good time!

I'm assuming the "golden circle" was used for European shows where the entire floor area was GA (and GA was also available to non-10c members)?

Yes, exadtly. Basically 10c member had access upfront. Even at the back of the circle where there was space, you were still pretty close to the stage!

The wristband gets you early entry. In Amsterdam we joined the line at early entry time and were still very close to the stage when we got in. It’s the fans who want the rail that have introduced this system.

This year it was pretty good organized at the Venue of Amsterdam.
No number assholes. Was in 2nd front section (they made sections for 50 people 4x times so you had space to sit) and could go out for a piss and drink. Talked to lots of people around me. As always.
But it was shit inside the building because no closed front section for first 1500 people. That would be nicer.

Luckily they played as if it was the best evening ever so had a great time.

I'm aiming for the rail in Krakow, but want to follow the rules.. If a bunch of people arrive late with numbers and cost me the opportunity at a rail spot, I'd be devastated

We are at Rome today. Won’t be happy if this continues. There were about 100 queuing in Padova and when we saw the list it was up to 450+ names. This is not right, people were signing then coming back at early entry time to get their name called out and take their place.

Or these ridiculous lines could be done away with altogether.  Go back to 100% reserved seating with a lottery for rows 1,2,9 and 10. Problem solved.

Because that is the stupidity of the system. When we got in the majority formed in front of Eddies spot.

    Thanks for the efforts 10C!

For the future I propose a new system that mainly prevents people from queuing for hours or even spending the night. It would be as easy as including a random number inside the envelope that you give us to determine the order of entry. If someone is not at the time of opening doors, they would lose their turn.
I think it is not so complicated to manage and there will be no possible discussion.

I just read on social media a fan got their tickets and the ticket vendor guy said anyone trying the list bullshit again is done for the rest of the tour. Glad 10 club has stepped in and straightened this out and hope people can grow up and act as adults and learn something we were taught in grade school. How to form a line. How hard is that.

As a lone traveller in London this year I had no problem leaving the line for quick toilet breaks or to grab a coffee and bring it back the queue.  Made friends with those around me and we all looked after each other.  Biggest potential problem is the hour or so needed to collect my 10club tickets but again people had seen me put in 2hrs+ before going to collect my ticket and rejoined with no problem.

But what of my spare ticket you may ask?  Sold to a really cool guy through 10C (clearly at face value) but as he turned up mid afternoon he knew he couldn't join me in the queue as he had not put the time in.
