Looks like TOOL is touring arenas in November, which means it wouldn't be too late for PJ to announce something for 2019 (though I know that is not what is being reported).

Very true. But they’re so good that when they don’t come around, we get frustrated!! Lol. Maynard was talking to Joe Rogan recently about how rabid their fan base is. And JR told him “you fucked up and have an awesome band” lol.
haha...yep,,it sucks to have an awesome band!!
While I don't comment too much, once in a while, I mainly just lurk around and read may I just say this.

Thank you for any and all info and leaks you give us. Much appreciated sir.

But let's wait for tomorrow first...first Tool record in 13 years!!!!!!!
     the album is fuckin brilluiant..
Yes it is!!!! I'm really counting on both Pearl Jam and Tool coming to Europe next year.

My complete guess based on nothing but my deductive reasoning skills, hopes, and dreams..

    1. Album out sometime around the holidays Nov/Dec/Jan (Merry Christmas to the fans maybe?!)
    2. Tour kicks off in AU/NZ in Feb/Mar...maybe get crazy lucky and have couple of Asia dates sprinkled in (aprox 6 shows)
    3. U.S. leg one April/May (aprox 10 shows)
    4. Usual Europe summer/festival circuit June/July (aprox 12 shows)
    5. U.S leg two August/Sept  (aprox 10 shows)
    6. South America dates in Oct/Nov (aprox 10 shows)

I'd think about 40-45 shows overall for a new album "world tour", plenty of break time between legs, time for baseball in Sept/Oct, etc.  Pipe dream maybe, but not outside the realm of possibility I'd say...

If Pearl Jam announced what Tool just did, I would grab my keys and go.  30 arena dates starting in only a month and a half from announcement.
Found: Soundgarden Hyde Park DVD (Thank you for the gift!)

That would be amazing but unprecedented for them.  They have the following to be able to pull it off, but they are more methodical in their coordination and preparation.

Hell, I'd be excited if they announced 30 dates six or eight months from now.
