If rumours are true and the uk part of the tour is 2 nights in london then its rather dissappointing.I am working class and cant afford to jump on planes and trains to go to concerts.I made the decision to go see eddie in london last year but that meant my kids not getting a holiday which i now realise was selfish of me.When i see all other major us acts from Springsteen to the foo fighters regulary play places like Birmingham-Cardiff-Liverpool-Newcastle-Glasgow-Edinburgh-Aberdeen then its rather disheartining.Nevermind though pearl jam uk are playing in Glasgow on Saturday and im off to that!.
I think the difficulty is that PJ don't tour as frequently, or for as long, as  people such as Foos or Springsteen. Those guys do 'world tours' lasting most of a year.
PJ hit an entire continent in three weeks, the UK is much better off than a lot of European countries, at least we get something.
I live in Cornwall, so have no cities or large urban conurbations, nor motorways. I pretty much have to travel to London for any gig, which is nearly six hours on a train. I'd love to see anyone closer to home, most of Scotland gets access to far more bands than me lol

In terms of trains and planes, if you did decide to go to London then if you need a hand with the transport side of things then give me a shout. The amount of travelling I do means I'm good at getting the best deals and prices. I can do Cornwall to London return for under £40. I've done Cornwall to Glasgow (yes I've gone that far, it took 14 hours) for under £100 return. I'm happy to help.
Unfortunately the pricing system used by both planes and trains is not always easy to navigate.
Thanks for the help bud,i might give you a shout!we have been lucky up here with the amount of great bands that have visited Scotland, sadly for me the one i want isnt one of them!.

How does it goes with the sale of tickets for the 10c members?

At a normal 10 club show you would have the option to go with GA and/or reserved seating. The odds for each would be displayed next to the choice giving you an idea how popular that show is. You can put in for as many shows as you want but each pick is priority based. If you get selected for a show your CC will be charged and you will be unable to back out so be sure that you can go.
Generally speaking, which has better odds? GA or reserved?
    Reserved
Nice. Now just waiting for some NA whispers...
Seems like you are a new member. Seniority does not hurt your chances in getting tickets but you should know that your seats will be the worse that 10 club is going to offer. This depends on the venue but you are usually on the floor behind GA or in the back horseshoe in the lower bowl. Still good seats mind you just not that close. My recomendation is to either go with GA and hang at the back if you do not want to queue or worry about your spot or to maybe try you luck with ticketmaster. Not trying to discourage you from getting 10 club reserved seats just letting you know there may be better options out there.
However, if you have a good fanclub number, you can still get good reserved side stage tix.  I was about 10-15 rows up, equal with the stage, on Mike's side in Worcester in 2013.

My wife is unwilling to stand up in GA for a 3+hr show.  Maybe hang out towards the back, but if I'm going to do that, I might as well go for a reserved seat that I know will be just as good.  Even if I'm not going with her, there's no way I"m camping out overnight or even queueing up in line a few hours early.  Just not worth it to me.
Damn. Someone mentioned having a low 100,000 number and then went to look at mine... there's no way
My only show, bought during general sale... refreshed the page once the time hit and tried giving me something like the 13th row in the lower bowl in Jax. Refreshed again and purchased 6th row in same section. Wondering if presale is even worth trying... just don't want to get locked out of shows since I now live in New England, and it seems like shows sell much quicker...

It's arena. Most probably on July 10. Maybe there will be a second show too.

Yep. just hope it isn't at Mercedes Benz Stadium. heard some really bad things about the acoustics in that joint.

Hopefully it will be Philips, Turner Field or Suntrust Park.

Ya I heard the same thing. Id prefer an arena show at Philips or Gwinnett but will take anything at this point!

There's pro's and cons.  Arenas are smaller are more intimate that giant as stadiums, but demand far out stripping supply leaves many fans without tickets (and lights a match the gasoline of the secondary market).

Similar plans here. Don't forget that World Cup Final while in Lisbon July 15th.
  • If they do more US stadiums I probably won’t do GA. Wrigley Night 2 last year was just too overpacked and had to eventually move to the edges. The two times I did arena GA where so much more comfortable and fun to be in.

Want to do Europe but no festival shows so eager for full announcement to start planning.

The burning question for me is which month or months they would tour the US. August, Sept, October, November? Would love to make wise vacation picks.

Yes, Palau Sant Jordi is the rumored place. Is it not too large? They say it's the biggest venue in Spain. 20K capacity at the music concert.

Interesting... maybe DC would make sense or SF? I added Atlanta & Houston simply because those are massive markets that they have completely ignored since 2003, and Atlanta has a new stadium

I hope people are ready for Stadiums in 2018, because I think it's a reality... which will mean zero travelling for me, I'll just go to the closest stadium shows and my gf won't be able to see a thing for 99% of the show lol
