So we have a potential stadium date in cali for august...what other rumors am I missing?
None. Someone was completely guessing about stadium shows, and everyone ran with it and started naming every stadium in the country.

where are the north american stadium shows rumors coming from? anything credible?
I guess I started it... but im only making an educated guess and have zero info or sources...
It's clearly the next step for them at this point, and playing stadiums is the new norm for USA music tours... 2 shows at citizens bank park will sell 70-80,000 tickets instead of 40,000 at the arena.... it's a no-brainer for them and their current model of limited shows per year
These guys plan ahead a lot more than they like to lead on...
They haven't played Noblesville/Indy (outdoor venue holding 24K) since 2010
And sold the place out I heard (I think the radio said it sold out that afternoon or only a couple hundred tickets left). Just a sea of people. Of course no Chicago show that year but I think they could sell it out again.
What’s the possibility of a show in Cuba on the way back from Lolla SA? That seems like a thing that might intrigue them, if an offer was ever extended.
Memphis 1994 New Orleans 1995 Fort Lauderdale 1996 Atlanta & Birmingham 1998 New Orleans 2000 Tampa 2003 Kissimmee 2004 New York City (x 2) 2008 East Troy (x 2) 2011 Chicago & New Orleans 2013 Hampton, Raleigh, Boston 2016 Baltimore2020 Louisville 2022 Philadelphia & Baltimore 2024

That was my initial guess when the "April 2018" thing was thrown out. Others guessed EV solo tour in SA, I think.
Given the demand for tickets, I'll take a stadium show over missing out on the arena show (or having to pay extortionate prices for tickets). The 2013 Seattle show sold in a microsecond. I lucked out and got some pretty rough (obstructed view) upper level behind the stage tickets about 20 minutes after the onsale started. Overall the tickets in the resale market got crazy expensive because demand was so high for the show.
We need midsize venues. Somewhere between 20k and 50k
Still doesnt make sense why there wasn't a second show added.
No kidding. I'm in Seattle and there was talk that there was supposed to be a second show on the 7th. We kept waiting for the announcement, but it never came. Not sure why that fell through, but that was the rumor at the time. At least we were still able to go to the Seattle show, but we were hoping for two Seattle shows in addition to the Portland show we saw.
I still think Stadium shows are coming to the USA in 2018... when they played Strangest Tribe and Angel at Fenway, two very "quiet" songs, that told me they were testing to see if their full catalog is playable at such a large & open venue and would translate... if so, hopefully they mix in a few arena dates
Seattle LA Chicago NY Boston Philly Atlanta Houston
Man, i HOPE its not just Stadium shows. Don't get me wrong, i'll take Stadium shows then no shows.

My wife (and kids) want to go "out west" this summer (we're from Toronto area) so this might be an excellent opportunity to really (i.e., selfishly) enjoy a family vacation for once!
Do you people think they are really going to announce a tour between Thanksgiving and Christmas?? I say no way.
Europe 2010: announced 12/7/09 Europe 2012: announced 12/8/11 Europe 2014: announced 12/13/13
Ahh I was thinking of the US. Who cares about Europe anyway
We may have less shows but at least we are not a freezing crowd that only claps. We actually enjoy ourselfs and jump , sing-a-long to songs , you know "feel" the shows not just stand there clapping after songs. Also we are not spoiled as you are...
