Glad someone noticed my statement. I get PJ is old and they have families. But it's pretty clear they don't like touring and mostly do it for the money at this point in their career.

I like to think they do like playing live but traveling gets old. Therefore they only like touring in small doses. Not touring a lot probably keeps them from hating it which is probably why PJ is one of the few bands that has gone the distance.
I also think the band members aren't the same. I think different band members have different tolerances for being on the road. They seem to make it work as a cohesive unit (probably not making the odd man out play to the point he goes crazy).
I get butterflies every time i come on this forum now. So many good PJ memories and cant wait to add to them next year with all you fantastic people in fine voice around me. Pearl Jam UK in Newcastle this weekend to tie me over.
yeah , official annoucement is for sure on dec 4th
Annoying if so - Nick Cave at Victoria Park and QOTSA at Finsbury Park both go on sale in the next few days - would like to know my options before I pay out! If PJ is a definite then I'd probably miss one of those other shows...

the most funny part is for 2016 tour announcement was at 4th dec
"...Dimitri...He talks to me...'.."The Ghost of Greece..".
"..That's One Happy Fuckin Ghost.."
“..That came up on the Pillow Case...This is for the Greek, With Our Apologies.....”
If rumours are true and the uk part of the tour is 2 nights in london then its rather dissappointing.I am working class and cant afford to jump on planes and trains to go to concerts.I made the decision to go see eddie in london last year but that meant my kids not getting a holiday which i now realise was selfish of me.When i see all other major us acts from Springsteen to the foo fighters regulary play places like Birmingham-Cardiff-Liverpool-Newcastle-Glasgow-Edinburgh-Aberdeen then its rather disheartining.Nevermind though pearl jam uk are playing in Glasgow on Saturday and im off to that!.
by now is pretty much confirmed they are playing NOS Alive in portugal but holy fuck wouldnt be awesome if monday they announced they are playing 2 dates non festival here in portugal

I think the difficulty is that PJ don't tour as frequently, or for as long, as people such as Foos or Springsteen. Those guys do 'world tours' lasting most of a year. PJ hit an entire continent in three weeks, the UK is much better off than a lot of European countries, at least we get something. I live in Cornwall, so have no cities or large urban conurbations, nor motorways. I pretty much have to travel to London for any gig, which is nearly six hours on a train. I'd love to see anyone closer to home, most of Scotland gets access to far more bands than me lol
In terms of trains and planes, if you did decide to go to London then if you need a hand with the transport side of things then give me a shout. The amount of travelling I do means I'm good at getting the best deals and prices. I can do Cornwall to London return for under £40. I've done Cornwall to Glasgow (yes I've gone that far, it took 14 hours) for under £100 return. I'm happy to help. Unfortunately the pricing system used by both planes and trains is not always easy to navigate.

Check out the Mad cool festival Madrid Facebook page . They have stick artwork playing which mergers with the letters TEN on it , getting closer folks !
Anyone think it's too soon to book flights? I can probably find better to do if PJ doesn't play but how risky do you think it is. C'mon Dimi help me out!

They deleted the old picture. Either another band is announced before PJ or they decided to announce earlier.
