I still think Stadium shows are coming to the USA in 2018... when they played Strangest Tribe and Angel at Fenway, two very "quiet" songs, that told me they were testing to see if their full catalog is playable at such a large & open venue and would translate... if so, hopefully they mix in a few arena dates

    Seattle
    LA
    Chicago
    NY
    Boston
    Philly
    Atlanta
    Houston
    hmmm

Am I getting warm Dimi??? lol
a couple seems good..and there is one not in this list...,which for me is so cool...
Is Toronto the one not on the list?

Gutted the uk dates are at the o2. Soulless venue. But I guess we were lucky to get Leeds last time.
ill be trying for krakow and both Amsterdam shows instead. Will be cheaper than doing London.
I'm still undecided. Definitely in for Amsterdam X2. I've never been to the o2 for a concert and they will have 2 shows there. But then again I love Krakow and seeing the band there would be amazing. Decision, decisions!

That Facebook event is a fake, but supposedly they should be playing there

Trying to determine what Dimi would deem cool?  Somewhere easy for him to travel to? A small, tiny place they either have never played or haven't played for years? Somewhere in the south? The options are endless :)

Interesting... maybe DC would make sense or SF? I added Atlanta & Houston simply because those are massive markets that they have completely ignored since 2003, and Atlanta has a new stadium

I hope people are ready for Stadiums in 2018, because I think it's a reality... which will mean zero travelling for me, I'll just go to the closest stadium shows and my gf won't be able to see a thing for 99% of the show lol

You obviously ignored the most storied team and stadium with your list. They are playing Petco Park baby!! And yes, Padres are still a team:) let’s go Ed, come to SD!

I doubt PJ plays stadiums in the USA outside of their major markets.  I could see NYC, Seattle, LA, Philly and of course Boston and Chicago.  Maybe Toronto in Canada.  Basically the cities that usually get two shows on arena tours.

Yup.  No way they play a stadium show in Atlanta or Houston.  Those aren't PJ markets.

I think a stadium show in Atlanta would do very well.  Metallica and Billy Joel played SunTrust Park this past summer and the Foo Fighters are playing at Turner Field in April.  SunTrust Park and Turner Field (now Georgia State's football stadium) are small stadiums that only hold 30-40k.

Turner Field holds 49,586 for baseball.  Sun Trust Park holds 41,149.

For the love of god no stadiums
There's pro's and cons.  Arenas are smaller are more intimate that giant as stadiums, but demand far out stripping supply leaves many fans without tickets (and lights a match the gasoline of the secondary market).
I don’t think the secondary market for arenas in slightly smaller markets is that large. Like Denver, Phoenix, etc.
Stadiums are terrible in every way other than the historical value of playing a Wrigley or Fenway. Playing Safeco or Dodger stadium has zero appeal.

    No new album

If they do more US stadiums I probably won’t do GA. Wrigley Night 2 last year was just too overpacked and had to eventually move to the edges. The two times I did arena GA where so much more comfortable and fun to be in.

Want to do Europe but no festival shows so eager for full announcement to start planning.
The GA at Wrigley was over sold against what PJ has been doing for awhile which was safety and space

PJ is very smart to change up their setlists.   It keeps people coming back year after year because they know they have a chance to hear that one song they haven’t heard yet. No new album necessary.

As I said before, these are locked:  Wrigley x 2, Fenway x 2 and SafeCo x 2.  The rest is gravy.
