I think it says a lot about our political landscape when RYME thinks people that don;t agree with him are "polar opposites".  It's what the politicians want you to believe so you keep voting for YOUR TEAM no matter the person or any of the specifics.

The Reps and Dems are not Polar opposites.  Sure there are some very big differences in some areas, but mostly similar with different ways of getting the job done.  BUt since we've let them convince us they are polar opposites, nothign gets done and they just are always running for re-election.

Agreed I’m a registered independent and if I find a candidate that stands for things i find important to me I’d vote for that candidate no matter what party that candidate represents ..

Is this the lock her up thread or about her book thread?

cash strapped DNC forking over big bucks to sue all Russians, Trump and Wikileaks and for Hilliarys Hill-bot list!
I wonder why that list is worth so much money???

Heading into the 2018 midterms, with Democrats hoping to take back the House of Representatives and even make a run at the Senate, the party has spent more than $2 million worth of campaign resources on payments to Hillary Clinton’s new group, Onward Together, according to Federal Election Commission filings and interviews with people familiar with the payments.

Before they can go to jail, they need to be indicted by a grand jury. Then they need to be convicted based on evidence at trial before a judge and/or jury. Then they need to be sentenced per the sentencing guidelines per the law. I haven’t gone to jail. You know why? Because like the Clintons, I haven’t been indicted and convicted per the law. What part of that process do you not understand?

I think it says a lot about our political landscape when RYME thinks people that don;t agree with him are "polar opposites".  It's what the politicians want you to believe so you keep voting for YOUR TEAM no matter the person or any of the specifics.

The Reps and Dems are not Polar opposites.  Sure there are some very big differences in some areas, but mostly similar with different ways of getting the job done.  BUt since we've let them convince us they are polar opposites, nothign gets done and they just are always running for re-election.
No I don't believe you can fit a nickel between the two parties.  I think they work hand in hand.
George HW Bush voted for Hillary Clinton for crying out loud.  And I think George W left his ballot blank.
They have an establishment club there in Washington (R+D)
They can't stand or allow an outsider who is not an ideologue, come into what they believe is there house, & rearrange the furniture.
No I don't think people that disagree with me in general are polar opposites.
I am not a republican.  I'm conservative/independent.  Republicans are just as corrupt as the Democrats.
This Thread went dormant for a while but somehow it just came roaring back.

you hillarious the man is a pathological liar , a narcissistic pig at best , we can't do anything about the past political history of what happened back then , except learn from it but by the looks of who's president the country didn't learn from those days you included since you voted for him ...

Nobody knew about that then though, when they voted for him, so your point is moot .... And yes, 3 people have accused Trump of rape: 2 who were 13 years old at the time (so yeah, he's an accused child rapist), and his first wife. Not to mention the other 14 women who accused him of assault. Not sure how you missed that... willful ignorance or deliberate support of someone who you know is a rotten excuse for a human being? Not sure.
I find your reaction to my comment totally bizarre. Like Jose said, you seem mad about Clinton, but not about Trump, who is infinitely worse in pretty much every conceivable way in terms of morality. It makes ZERO sense. Are you aware of this hypocrisy?

I think I understand completely why many of you are dumfounded that someone here can still support trump.  HFD said "gross". Lol I totally get it.  Its because your ideals and vision for America are the polor opposite compared to what I want for America.  That's why I think you are dumbfounded.  Another guy said my comment made him speechless.  As long as the conversation is polite, I enjoy chatting with you.  My commentary here has definitely ruffled a few feathers, and raises a few eyebrows.
It's gotta make it a little more interesting than talking exclusively with people who totally agree with each other.
I'm not trying to be combative, I'm just sharing a point of view.
I admit that I took a flyer on Trump.  I wasn't sure what he was going to do.  I knew that he was not a continuation of Obama, and He wasn't Hillary.
Benghazi is the biggest problem I had with Hillary.
There were two choices on the ballot Trump or Hillary.  That was an easy choice for me.  I did not like the path that Obama had this country on, and Hillary represented a continuation of that.
I did in fact like a few things about Obama.  Very charismatic,  I thought he had a good personality, I think it's cool that he had a brewery going in the White House.  I thought it was cool that he would take time to fill out College tournament brackets.  Even though I did not vote Obama the first time around, (based on the issues) when Obama beat McCain, I was happy at least that America had elected our first black president, that was a huge positive for me.  Because I don't have a racist bone in my body.
But in the end I didn't like the direction Obama was taking this country.  We could go on and on about that but I really don't want to argue.
As far as Trump goes, I didn't vote for character, I voted based on his positions on the issues that he campaigned on.  And so far he's governed very conservatively and has been following through with what he said he was going to do.  Even the so-called conservative #never trumper's are having to reconsider, because he's doing what they have been advocating for, for decades.
Most conservative president since Reagan.  That's what I wanted.  The crazy bombastic tweets and things I could do without but I just put up with that s***.
You know, all Hillary had to do was to come off more likeable than Trump, & I think she would have won.
But then who the hell knows what drives people??

It sounds like this gentlemen preferred the direction the country was heading prior to Obama.

Big fan of major economic collapses right here, apparently!

No I don't believe you can fit a nickel between the two parties.  I think they work hand in hand.
George HW Bush voted for Hillary Clinton for crying out loud.  And I think George W left his ballot blank.

Maybe they just can't stand having a mentally disturbed sexual predator in office?
Holy moly you must have forgot about the 90s.  1992-2000?  That didn't bother anyone.  I don't think Trump has been accused of rape has he?
To be fair, the rape and sexual assault allegations toward trump recieved little coverage by the media before the election. I was really surprised by it. Since getting elected it’s gotten more coverage (except at a couple media outlets).

What do you mean by little? Major national and international news outlets covered it all. Do Americans need to literally be hit over the head numerous times before they understand what's happening? I mean, usually the news reflects what the audience responds to... So what you're really saying, IMO, is that Americans didn't care enough about the story when it hit (and it was a BIG story) for the media to turn it into 24/7 coverage or to make it a major issue while covering the campaign. The media doesn't act all by itself. It does what gets the biggest audience response.

They could have covered it more. But I think the problem with Trump is that there are so many bad things to cover at once, they all get lumped in together and the reporting loses it's impact....

But you'd think that, of all things, his extensive record of sexual assault and rape accusations would be serious enough to break through the steady stream of bad shit Trump does. I mean, that the public can't filter out something that massive, then geez, there really is no hope.

Two stories that were not covered pre-election and were not known about to the general public until well after were Russia collusion/PTape and stormy Daniels and the other consensual affair with the playboy bunny, both of which might have hurt Team Trump Treason more if they had been reported on in August-November. The other allegations, which I believe, find credible and are disgusting, were near impossible to confirm and were wrongly characterized as “unfounded” allegations. It’s a total he said/she said argument. Doesn’t make it right, it should have made a difference but it didn’t. And that’s the shame that the Team Trump Treason voters have to carry.

Alright, I'll take your word for it... FWIW, international news outlets did not present it as "unfounded". Unproven, yes, of course (that's what court is for). But not unfounded. There seemed to be a pretty strong focus on those accusations outside of America. But in any case... I'm not buying the "I didn't know about it before I voted for him" line for a second. Not that most of you voted for him. I'm just saying in the general sense... If a Trump voter tells him they were oblivious to all this disgusting stuff when they marked their ballot, I would call bullshit.

Whatever was driving it, I’m not sure. I can remember a huffpo article about it and one other written piece from a newsite considered liberal(can’t remember which one). I didn’t watch a ton of tv coverage, but I don’t recall it getting a mention there. We even had some posts in here about how little pre-election coverage there was  Even on the specific case in NY state that was briefly open in court.

What I'm driving at is that Trump voters fucking knew he was a sexual predator and voted for him anyhow, or 100% deliberately avoiding most of the available information about Trump during the campaign in a concerted effort to not have a reason not to vote for him.
I saw SO much about this aspect of Trump during his campaign, on a daily basis, especially on social media, but also on TV and major websites.

Maybe they just can't stand having a mentally disturbed sexual predator in office?
Holy moly you must have forgot about the 90s.  1992-2000?  That didn't bother anyone.  I don't think Trump has been accused of rape has he?
Whatever was driving it, I’m not sure. I can remember a huffpo article about it and one other written piece from a newsite considered liberal(can’t remember which one). I didn’t watch a ton of tv coverage, but I don’t recall it getting a mention there.
