Very nice Jose. Do you put raisins in filling?

Today bud inspired me to jar up some hot cauliflower. First time.

    Beautiful and sounds incredible

Thanks! It's the art of food I'm attracted to. Like you. Bonus when it tastes good. These may be super hot, but find with sugar added it mellows the peppers out big time. That's why I aggressively added them. Will see.

Those look amazing. I have pickled veg with almost every meal except breakfast. We eat a ton of Kimchi and Japanese pickles. Even if they are super spicy, just a small bit will go great with almost any protein or salad. You can always add some agave or simple syrup to them. We do a lot of quick pickle here but no proper canning. Well done!

Yeah no doubt I’m learning to really see the art aspect of cooking! Can you add those to sandwiches or subs I’d love to try them and the cauliflower too, we make cauliflower small pancakes that are easy to do and are delicious for breakfast with eggs 😋

Cool. Sure you can do anything with them. Never tried it.
Like the sound of those pancakes. Have been ignoring cauliflower too long
Did make a frittata tonight and put some plain cauliflower in it. Also put some chipolte peppers, tomatoes, dill, some ends of bread, purple potatoes and my bud gave me venison bologna. Holy heck. Great combo.

Good call. Yes. Fun and like the thought of quick pickles. I'm just addicted to canning now!

Looks great! Cannot say I am a huge fan of Tilapia, but it is convenient.

I refuse to eat a fish that never existed in the USA until I was 40? years old. Never once for 40 years did I ever see tilapia advertised.

Therefore I refuse to even try it.

    As Jules once said...

It can taste like pumpkin fucking pie, im still not eating it.

Most of the tilapia consumed here in US is imported and purchased as frozen fillets. Some of it is actually farmed here in the US. I mean it is not terrible, and it is probably healthier than adding ground beef or steak to that dish. It is just kind of meh and I do not trust the fish farms in Asia. I have actually been onsite to a few of them in China and Vietnam and lets just say I do not eat any fish or shellfish products from either country. But if you find fillets from the US of even South America, they are a decent inexpensive, low calorie, low fat protein source that you can keep on hand in the freezer. I will have to see if they have any at Whole Foods out of curiosity the next time I am there.

Most of the time we eat talapia it’s either for tacos or I make ceviche with it!

I start the day with coffee and biscotti and I end the day with pasta. My daily joyful-bookends. I tried to eat something besides pasta for dinner, but why? Where is the joy?
