711, regional to mid atl, although they do have some in FL.  Better (much) prepared food than 711, excellent customer focus, and supported by rabid, loyal, fans.

And that was actually  pretty accurate portrayal. Exact old school log too, if I remember correctly. That show was solid for a few years there.

Big Pennsylvania rivalry between Sheetz and Wawa.

I will say that one advantage in Sheetz's favor is that their Shmuffin's are available all day/all night. Same cannot be said for Wawa's breakfast offerings. I housed my fair share of shmuffins in the middle of the night while in college. Sometimes you just prefer breakfast shit over a hoagie after 18 beers.

    Never heard of sheetz.
I'll ride the wave where it takes me......
  • Sheetz is less than Wawa imo.
I ate two meals separated by one bar this weekend.  @The Juggler
Sometime you just gotta work to offset all of the booze!

Agreed. But the gap has lessened as Wawa's food quality has decreased over the years. Sheetz wins breakfast though imo
Actually...now that I think of it, I don't know if I've even set foot in a Sheetz since the late 90's. I am strictly relying on a hazy college memory. lol

Also--over the weekend, I made a drunken stop at a Wawa one night and one of my idiot friends and his wife got a Wawa pizza. I was appalled but they fucking loved it. I thought it looked like garbage and refused to even try it.

I'm sure it is only a matter of time before my son wants to try

We ordered from a ghost kitchen, last night, and they made Detroit style pizza.  Forgot to take a pic but it was really good.  I'm sure when it just came out it would have been special.  U/f, ghost kitchen only delivers.

There is a time and place for junk pizza. Like Sbarros at the airport after working in Asia for two weeks. Or at an event where it costs $15 for a crappy slice after drinking for four hours.

    That was after school snack?

It does seem out of hand, what places are charging these days.

    My best local spot
    https://www.arthuravenuemenu.com/
Four personal pies at $18 each!
We are addicted to the broccoli rabe and the honey bee pies. So good.
    Their tartufo is also killer!
Typically a $100+ tab which is crazy.
