The ever controversial Lou Malnatis deep dish, hot off the press. Sausage and cheese. Wow!!

Daaaamn that is one deep dish I would try.
It's one hell of a pie. If you've never had it, I highly recommend.
how many slices until you are beyond full?
2 is perfect. I'll usually go 3 because it's too good to stop, but then I'm KO'd for a few hours lol

Based on the folklore of Lou's, I'm terrified of trying it.

(but, a bite from the bottom inside triangle crust sounds damn good)

No reason to be terrified! It's the most delicious pizza you'll ever try! I think Lou's is shipping to most parts of the US (I could be wrong).  Order a cheese and sausage and thank me later :)

I ordered a small one a few years back. It kind of sucked; was definitely not worth the hype or the wait in line.

One, two people had a bad experience? Millions have had the polar opposite. The folklore is that it’s an amazing, delicious treat and a staple of Chicago dining!

Sorry to hear that. I'd give it one more shot. Having another bad experience would be like getting struck by lightning twice. ;)

  • I love that Lou's is posted here and gets props from those who love it.
(Just seeing it made my stomach flip.  A side view likely would have prompted me to go and sit on the toilet.  lol.)

I could sink my teeth into numero dos.
  • Stuff looks pretty deep!
Is the crust under thick?  If thin, I think that looks good.  However, looking at the cheese one it looks like it could be a shit ton of cheese there.
Either way, I think that shit would go down amazingly well with a sixer of PBR.  (Is that what you had?!)
