bbiggs said:Another benefit of square cut is that it gives the option to not over indulge. If I’m eating slices, I’m eating a minimum of 2; maybe 3. That’s a lot of pie. And I’m not going to throw a half eaten slice back in the box. With squares, I can snag a few pieces and walk away without feeling like I gained 50 pounds. Or snack on a couple leftover pieces. Give it a shot sometime!
the opposite is also true....even if you’re stuffed, there’s always room for one or two or three more squares. If I had known then what I know now...

I don't think I've ever tried Ellio's. For frozen, we used to do DiGiornio or Amy's or (later, kids) Wild Mike's -- oh, and of course, Stouffer's french bread pizza -- but these days we go for the Cape Cod Cafe bar pies, which you can easily grill.I SAW PEARL JAM0

I, too, am a self admitted ellios eater.
Something nostalgic and satisfying about a crappy cardboard rectangle every one in a long while.
Pizza scissors will always make me chuckle. The love he receives is the love that is saved0 -
I love ellio s. Sometimes real bad frozen pizza just hits the spot. I used to put a slice of that in the toaster oven covered in parm and sometimes shredded cheddar. Oh yes it was good.
Spirtual, that pizza looks good. Frozen or delivery?I'll ride the wave where it takes me......0 -

Hands down, my favorite pizza spot. Pizza is good, but the atmosphere is unbeatable. What pizza place has this on the wall?!

Next time you come to LA, check out Barney's Beanery - talk about a rock n roll atmosphere! Legendary history too, musically and otherwise.
(the food is pretty good, depending on the day)

^ Kick ass! Will have to check it out for sure. Thats the idea with this pizza place. It’s 100% rock n roll themed. The owner is a huge PJ fan too. They play recordings of live rock concerts on the majority of TVs and it’s pumping through the speakers. Tonight was an old AC/DC show and a more recent Metallica show while I was there. Absolutely love this place.0
