I spoke with a lady at work yesterday who was a victim of one of those phone scams. She lives in rural Virginia (near the WV border), and she's older and diabetic. She got a call from some random number who demanded $5,000 for some medication and if she didn't pay she'd be facing jail time. That's how she explained it. Yeah it doesn't make sense to me either but she said "I was stupid enough to believe it so I paid them."
Then she started complaining that the FBI was too busy trying to impeach the president to devote time to catching the perpetrator and that the FBI didn't care about regular Americans or some shit. She also says she has a 13k judgment on her title because she "got caught up in Obama Care." ?
This is the 25-30% of Trump's base that won't be swayed by just about anything.
It's the other, slightly more reasonable, 10-13% that matter.

Matt Drudge, the influential conservative aggregator, tweeted this screenshot of his website today that read, "FAKE VETO," moments after Trump announced he signed the spending bill.Drudge/TwitterFar-right media personalities fumed on Friday after President Trump signed a spending bill he previously threatened to veto into law.
They were upset the $1.3 trillion package did not include complete funding for his promised wall along the US-Mexico border.
In a string of tweets, Ann Coulter, a conservative media firebrand who was one of Trump's most outspoken supporters during the 2016 election, skewered the President. After Trump said he would never sign a bill like this into law again, Coulter quipped, "Yeah, because you'll be impeached."

Found out recently that my father in law voted for Dennison. He is 82, collects social security and is on medicaid.
He is unhappy with Dennison because of the elephant hunting issue. Imagine that.
